useless product.
stopped working after 10 months. changed the battery and while testing there is no sound. don't buy the product as there is no after sales service. not possible to repair too. don't buy it is just waste of money.

Recd it yesterday. Tested with smoke from burning paper, it worked. Durability will update later
Pro : Recd it 1 day back. Tested it with smoke from burning paper, it did not start up. When burning paper was extinguished and heavier smoke came out, it beeped. Beep is loud and sharp, so should alert me, wake me up. Took out the battery before installing it. With no battery, the unit managed to give low-battery chirping sound for 3-4 times, which is good. ______ Cons : Fitting the alarm on to the base plate is difficult, as there are only two clamping spots you waste lot of time standing on the ladder trying to get it fixed. Durability : Dont know yet, will update Battery usage speed : Do not know, will update it after 6 month and 1 year again

Very useful product.
This product is a wonderful product. It works perfectly. It is a must have product for safety of every family. It sense smoke very Fastly. Sensor works very accurate and faster. We are using it in our kitchen. Because kitchen is a place where we often work with fire. Its built quality is very nice. It works on battery, so no tension of wiring. It can be hung anywhere easily.

WORTHLESS AND DISAPPOINTING
Disappointing. worthless. First of all, it doesn't come with a battery, and you have to buy one. After inserting a new battery, I switched it on, and even after placing it directly over the fire and smoke, there was no ALARM. No sound. I then asked it to be returned, and I got a message that my defective item has been picked up. I checked, and it was not picked up. Then, later, I got a message that a new item had been delivered. Again, no item was delivered. So I brought this matter to customer care, and they were very efficient and refunded the money. Please avoid buying.
