Magic Makers Metal Rattleback Flat Gold Edition

I'm a physicist by education, and I facilitate workshops on how to achieve "impossible", so have been giving out plastic rattlebacks to my workshop participants for years. When I found this gold metal one I was excited to upgrade! And I was not disappointed! This heavy metal rattleback spins and reverses with in the same amazing way that my plastic ones do, and this makes a wonderful upscale gift for those special clients who enjoyed the plastic version. I will order more!

The overall idea & toy is fascinating & fun, but it's TINY. It really should be advertised with a person's hand holding it to get perspective. My gift recipient still got a kick out of it, so mission accomplished, but I had to get over my initial disappointment.

I was sorely disappointed with this rattleback. It just didn’t perform well. In fact, the cheap 10 pack of plastic rattlebacks available on Amazon performed better. They spin better and even reversed better than this “metal” rattleback. Don’t waste your money thinking your getting a better one. You’re not.

Received this as a gift and absolutely loved it. Was a fun party trick and magic trick. Had to come on and write a great review, not cheaply made, worth every penny!
