It's plug-n-play and scans very quickly. No problems with 2D barcodes or scanning QR codes and did so easily without errors. Not a heavy duty build quality but good enough for in an office and priced right!

This review is for a corded USB-A QR code scanner. It's simple and inexpensive and works great. I emailed support to get the online manual for the programming codes and got an immediate and courteous response that had the download link and attached pdf for the manual. :)

I have had my scanner for almost a year and it has helped me so much. From renaming hundreds of PDFs (used to take me hours!) to inventorying our warehouse before we updated our systems. This little guys has saved me so much time! With our updated systems I no longer have to update the PDFs so I thought that this little guys was no longer going to be of use. My team realized that we could use it to dispatch our drivers quickly and efficiently. But I found I could not for one simple reason... Their customer service team had helped me create a special code to allow me to scan the pdf by removing the last letter in the barcode and hit enter for me so all I had to do was scan and go! That was so helpful at the time I thought I would cry! That was almost a year ago. Now that I no longer need to do that, I needed to change my scanner back to factory settings BUT.... I lost the manual... So I reached out to their team again to see if I could get a copy. Their team quickly responded and sent it right to me!!!!!!! I am so thankful for their customer service team!! Quick and responsive! They help me with whatever I need!

The scanner worked great for about 2 weeks, despite having to aim the red light above the bar code.. Now the the cable constantly disconnects from my pc. I want my money back and may dispute the charge. I'm pissed it stopped working right after the return period ended. UPDATE 5/6/26 the seller contacted me and resolved this matter. I was sent a new, working unit and now satisfied. Updated rating and review.

Plug & Play and worked right away on my Linux machine running MX Linux (Debian). I was able to use this QR scanner to manually import and register the QR code using direct input option on my 2FAuth docker app. Just first scan the QR code and output it on a text editor then copy and paste it on the Direct Input section of your 2FAuth docker app. I do this to have a backup of my important QR codes used for one-time authentication logins in case I lost my phone or have no immediate access to it. I only realized how important to have backups of my QR codes after I forgot to bring my phone one time and I can't authenticate myself on the site I'm trying to login without it since my phone has all my 2FA codes.

Does not scan my computer screen. It takes a while to actually scan papers too. I have to attempt to scan the paper multiple times and most importantly, the reason I bought this in the first place, it won’t scan my computer screen.

Has trouble reading some bar codes but generally works well enough.
