can you mix this with the resin and use a spray gun?

When I received the undercoat 90% of the can was hard. The product was no good. I tried to contact the seller and they never responded so I returned it. So what I started to use was Kitz primer from Home Depot. It works fine so far and I have done 2 projects so far. I do property flips and I am working on a 4000 sq. ft. house with all the counter tops done with Resin. I have studied the Stone Coat Countertops video as they are very good to watch and learn. Its to bad there customer service really sucks.

Is it normal for it to be solid when you get it?

Mine was solid too, ordered Feb 12th. I'm confident it's not supposed to be that way.

How do i prep ceramic tiles before base coat application?

Step 1: Clean the surface with trisodium phosphate (TSP), which is purchased at any paint store made for paint prep and deep cleaning. Step 2. Sand with a rough 60-grit sanding disc attached to a random, orbital sander. Step 3: Apply a thin coat of bonding primer and let it dry completely. Step 4: Apply the thin-set and liquid polymer mixture to float the tile and fill in grout joints. Here are links to the VersaBond Thin-set and the Quikrete Liquid Polymer. Step 5: After you’re done with the thin-set and it’s dry, you can use a concrete rubbing stone to remove ridges. Here is a link for it: 20 Grit Concrete Rub Brick. Step 6: Now you apply a self-leveling underlayment and liquid polymer mixture. Here is a link to the LevelQuik.

Great primer

I highly recommend this product for sealing MDF, especially MDF from the local home stores. Does an incredible job and can be wet sanded for a smooth application. If you have painted with small rollers, applying this primer is easy and no trouble at all. When mixed prior to painting, it has just the right thickness that it is easy to apply a consistent coating with a roller. Coverage was more than I had thought I would get.

Great Primer!

I used this for priming MDF board for countertops and it worked perfectly! It seals and drys quickly for a nice base for a flawless finish. Low oder, great value, and applied perfectly. Was able to epoxy and finish my project the next day! Video is the primer on the countertops, picture is the end result after using the Giani granite countertop paint kit 2.0 epoxy topcoat in white diamond to finish the countertops. Would 10/10 recommend.
