OutsetRosewood Handle Serrated Steak Knives, Set of 6

I was trying to replace some knives that are 40 years old, I only have two left. I had purchased them at Kmart. These really do not compare, though not bad. The serrated edges cut very rough, like on an apple. I really have not used them on steak or meat yet. The straight edge is sharp and cuts easily, not sure what the deal is with the serrated edge. I'll post more after I've used it on a steak.So these knives are great on steak, actually all meat, chicken, turkey, fish, tri-tip- I am bumping up another 2 stars! They are labeled "steak knives" ! :)

These steak knives are very handsome. Although they are not the jumbo size steak knife you get at a nice restaurant, the rest is the same - not too small or narrow. It's a great style and size for the home. They cut great, fit in my cutlery organizer, and the price is right.

I wanted a decent sharp set of steak knives for informal dining, so I ordered a set based on earlier reviews. I love these knives and would buy another set if I ever needed more, but I doubt these will ever break or wear out. They are obviously somewhat "cheap" in construction as well as price, but boy are they sturdy and SHARP!! For the price I paid, I love these knives. I even use them as a paring knife as they are so sharp. I couldn't give them a five star rating as it is obvious the fitting of the handles was totally manual, with some rivets ground flush, some a little over-ground taking a bit of wood with it and some rivet edges were a little raised. The wood handles are totally natural, not oiled or finished, with wide variation in color knife to knife. You would not want to set these out with your fine china, but they certainly are perfect for your BBQ or informal dining. These are NOT dishwasher safe so you must carefully hand wash them, as they are as sharp as the devil! I am very happy with my purchase and these knives mostly exceeded my expectations.

It’s taken me 3 tries to find steak knives I liked. These have good weight and cut well. They are easy to clean. Love the wavy edge as opposed to serrated or straight. My only complaint is I wish they had come in a set of 8 instead of 6.

Have had these knives for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with them. The blades are quite sharp and have had no problems cutting either steak or tomatoes, and everything in between, with them. Handles are well secured to the blades and the blade length, thickness and sharpness is excellent. Have both hand washed and had them in the dishwasher with no issues and expect these to last through many years of use. At this price, I don't know why you'd want anything other than these for everyday use.

Noce quality and feel. Sharp at the serated tip. Great for steak and chops!

Ok set of steak knives. I like the larger than average handle size. Sharpness is alright but not great and has large serrations that I expect will tear rather than cut when knives begin to get dull. My biggest problem is with the gap between the end of the tang and handle. This allows the tang end to press into the hand and is uncomfortable. Will keep set but will keep shopping for ones I like better

After 6 months of using these, I have begun to wash them in the dishwasher - even though it is not recommended. I have since found out why. The wooden handles become a little bit rough after going through the dishwasher a few times. Kind of yucky feeling. Not yucky as in dirty, just a weird rough feel that no one likes. I assume all wooden handled knives are this way, so don't let this detract from you buying them. They are very INexpensive for occasional use but I would look for plastic handles in future purchases.Other than that, serrated edges and wooden handles - not able to sharpen or put in dishwasher, but they are very good knives for the low price!

Handle well. Cut as expected. Great price when I bought.

Initially, I liked the unique design of the blade and the very affordable price. Once I got them, I really liked that they also cut meat. There may be nicer knives out there, but these will get the job done.
