I’ve had aquariums for more than 20 years. I’ve been using those long handled aquarium scrub brushes for years. I really didn’t enjoy cleaning my aquarium glass. The scrub brush didn’t do that great of a job and it dripped water everywhere. Plus it was a pain to store. Then I was watching a fish keeping video on YouTube and saw the Flipper. It looked so much more effective and easier to use/store than what I had been using. I bought one for my 36 gallon bow front aquarium. It seemed a little pricey for a glass scrubber but after using it for awhile, it’s worth every penny! I initially had a difficult time figuring out what the written directions meant but that might just be me. I was able to find a YouTube video that explained what was meant by rotating the handheld part to get the scrubber part inside my aquarium to flip. After that it was super easy to use. I store mine inside my tank which is convenient. The razor side does an excellent job at removing those little specks of algae that stubbornly stick to the glass the scrubber part removed biofilm easily. The magnet is strong and I’ve never had the part inside my tank float away. My glass has never been so clean! I liked it so much that I put a smaller version for my 10 gallon tank on my Wishlist and got it for Christmas. I really wished I had learned about the Flipper sooner. It’s a much better way to clean the glass than what I had been using.

Easy to use does a great job.

Definitely one of the best aquarium glass scrapers out there, I just wish it wasn't as expensive as it is. Otherwise I would own one for every tank I have. It is built well with great glass contact and a strong magnet. It is easy to use and it doesn't totally freak my fish out when I use it. I also appreciate that there are blade replacements at a decent price and they are easy to replace without physical struggle.

It’s a great item and will clean anything you need BUT…1st this thing is HUGE. It really needs a body builder to move it around. If you have any movement or strength issues, get the smaller one.The magnets are very strong. Flipping it per the instructions takes a little practice. The will smash fingers if your not carefull

It’s a must have . You will find you get one sooner or later if you have a fish tank

I use this to keep the glass in my aquarium clean. It keeps the algea off the glass and doesn't scratch

Everybody told me to get this brand of algae scraper so I found this on Amazon works wonderfully. I can see why now it's a good product. I definitely recommend it. It works for my 15 gallon nuvo fusion aquarium but I could see this working for a larger or even smaller tank. Definitely get it. You won't regret 😉😜

Magnet I chose not strong enough to adequately scrape algae from my acrylic tank. The acrylic is less than 1/4 inch thick. I have to reach into column tank, which is too tall at four feet , and use my Kent hand held acrylic scraper but can reach down far enough.Still looking for a solution!
