MoGee Gear Toy Motorized Building Set - Interlocking Educational Building Toy Over 45 Pieces - Batteries Included

I think a bought this for the wrong age; my 3 year old grandson. Decided to keep it until he's a little older.

OK. Not played with much by children who love to build. Gave as a gift.

The motor broke the second we turned it on. The gears are all plastic (opposed to looking like brushed metal from the photos online or or the box online). I never returned it because my son still loves the gears. But what's a Mogee without a motor? We tried new batteries..must have gotten a defective unit.

I gave this to a young man turning 4 years old. The box says for ages 5 and up. He needed a little help from Dad but he loved it. His older brother who is 9 years old also enjoys building different things with it. Highly recommended for children who like to build things.

Our grandson loves things that work and building them. This is a good toy for him. He will enjoy this for awhile and teach his little brother while he is at it I think.

I saw this at an event with a science center. My daughter could not put it down great info.

I got this product for my nephew last week. He is six and I wanted to buy building blocks to improve his language skills, spatial skills, hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and creative thinking. We spent almost 2 hours to slowly build a train set. I showed him once how to do it and he started his imagination to built different sets such as bike, dog, and car. He always tried to build one set and at the end he makes the different one. He is happy every time he makes something. Following are the pros and cons I observed with this product.Pros:The pieces are in different shapes and colors that don't bore kids easily like other building block toys.Its good for various ages from 3 to 13.It will make kids creative.Cheaper than other gears in the market.Very study pieces.It comes with batteries.Cons:I wish it came with a nice manual with different designs.Motor should have been better.I would recommend this product to all the parents who like to buy their kids to be imaginative and creative. I got this product for discounted price for the honest review.
