I moved it near the fire and it dried completely in around 10 minutes. Then, I used it as a hair wrap to dry my long hair and repeated the "drying cycle." Perfection.Compact and Travel-Friendly: ★★★★★Every inch of space in my luggage matters. This microfiber towel is incredibly compact and lightweight, making it a travel essential. It folds neatly into its own pouch, saving valuable space for other necessities. And because it dries so quickly, I was never worried about it getting moldy at the bottom of my bag! No matter the activity, this towel has my back. I use it as a normal towel, a hair wrap, a panic blanket, a sweat mop, a blanket. It doesn't retain bad smells and is really durable!Gentle on the Skin: ★★★★★I have super sensitive skin, so I am always afraid that any towel or blanket I use will retain stones, sticks, dirt, grass, etc that will scratch me. But with a strong shake, everything comes right off the towel, like water on a duck! The material is super soft and gentle, never irritating.Durable and Long-Lasting: ★★★★★I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of this towel. Despite its lightweight and thin appearance, it can handle regular use and multiple washes without losing its effectiveness or softness. I wasn't sure how well these would work, I've seen a lot of brands talk the talk but not be able to walk the walk...well this one does both! It looks shockingly small. I got two sizes, one that is small, and then the largest one they have. I color my hair and got them for a vacation where we stayed at an Air BnB and I didn't want to ruin their towels or sheets/pillows with rub off of my color, and didn't want to bring one of my towels from home because they are bulky.When I opened them I was hesitant they'd be of much use, the fabric just didn't feel like it would do anything, it almost felt water repellent. I used them for a week and can confirm they are super absorbing, and somehow even though my towels at at home do, they didn't hold any of the color from my hair (I used one to sleep on, and no color rub off in the night, and checked the white pillows and it didn't go through) so this is some sort of magic material in my mind.They come with a carrying case, which I literally bet my aunt the large one would definitely not fold back up in to...I lost the bet. It was shockingly easy to fold it down and in the bag looking like I'd never even opened it!Since they are meant more for the beach, they have a nice corner pocket that zips, but is only visible from one side, so you could lay it with that side down and it just looks like a regular blanket (assuming you are at a beach where you can make a little pocket in the sand for it to lay flat). If you are at a resort and have a key card, versus car keys, you could put it on a lounge chair and keep your room card safe and hidden.Did not think I'd like these, let alone love them. I have some relatives who frequent the beach and camp a lot, they are each getting one for the holidays.

These are not soft and plush like terry towels. They do not absorb the same way as terry towels. It's more like you wipe your body with it and think you aren't drying, and then you are suddenly quite dry. It's different but effective. (I am a small woman. I cannot speak to how this works for a large person with a lot of body hair.)I bought these to take to the gym for my post-swim shower. I'm 5'3", and the 30x60 works as a body towel -- it falls to within an inch or two of my knees. I love how much less space it takes up in my very full swim bag. I was so pleased with this as a body towel that I bought a smaller one (24x48) for my long hair, and it works great as a hair towel. I haven't noticed any damage since I started using it.I've been so pleased with these that I bought more for the beach because they pack down so small. Since I used these on a beach chair, I can't speak to how well they repel sand, but because they don't have loops like a terry towel and the nap is minimal, I suspect they collect less sand. Traditional beach towels are more snuggly, but I liked having less bulk to cart across the sand.Also, my skin in sensitive to bleach, so these have been really handy in hotel rooms -- I use one of these instead of the bleached towels.The bag that the towel comes in is handy if, like me, you don't like thinking about dirty things rubbing against your towel. The towel has a loop that allows it to hang securely, so you're less likely to have your towel fall on floor of the public shower. That said, the 30x60 is so long that it might drag on the floor. You can hang the towel kinda folder, or loop an end back through the loop. (You can also hang the towel inside its carrying bag.) That loop was useful during travel when going from the hotel where I just used the towel to the car with ten hours of driving to go. I can hang the towel by the loop on my car's backseat hook (by a backseat window) and feel that the towel is drying better than it would stuffed in a bag.Overall, great product, great for travel.

Bought it to try and see if it's worth replacing my regular bath towel with. First use felt strange but it sure dried my body off faster, not so much my hair but I have short hair so it's fine. It's really more a patting towel than a rubbing one. I'm happy with it for the price. Bought another for the bathroom and a couple of smaller ones for the kitchen.

Good size and good price

First time I needed one of these and it was great! Had to pack really light for a hiking trip so decided to purchase one. Lightweight, very compact, very absorbent. fast drying, no odor. I'm petite so this size worked great for me.

We have several of the xxl towels and the small towels on our boat and love love love them. So soft. Great vibrant colours and so many of our friends have bought them due to our recommendation.
