Love these clips! As a hairdresser and someone who has thick hair, these are absolutely important to use!I also have arthritis and these aren't super difficult for me to open with my hands, or my 12 year old daughter to use.They hold up smaller sections of my thick hair, but they aren't the super large clips, so be aware that they are a bit smaller than the larger ones I've used in the past. Since I was mostly getting these for my daughter's hair, that's not a large issue..but you'll need more than one to use on thicker hair, at a time. So I feel they are affective and helpful, but definitely not large enough to use just one to hold up thivker hair.Color is as described and I'll update if any of the break!
