Works well but be sure to place on a level surface
The rain barrel was easy and quick to put together. When I accidentally installed this rain barrel on tilted ground ghe forst time, the barrel later, on its own, tilted and then fell over and rolled down the hill, emptying itself out to my regret at the loss of 50 gallons of rain water. So far, no animals have attacked it, despite plenty being out here. By the way, it is a good idea to place an anti-mosquito doughnut dunk into the rain barrel to keep mosquito larvae from making a home there. My vegetables seem to like rain water much better than chloramine-treated city water, so this is a good investment for the long run, useful even after the drought situation just got called off after the recent heavy rains.

Perfect!
Before I purchased the barrel, there was a review saying it fell apart and sagged - I don't know what that person did wrong, but this barrel is so sturdy and easy to assemble. I followed the directions and put some water in the barrel once I had it in my yard. Since then we've had rain and the barrel is doing a great job at collecting rain water. I haven't used any of the faucets it comes with, but they were also easy to install.

everything great except
The package came well packed and was easy to assemble. The only problem I encountered was the zipper which did not secure well because it is cheaply made. All the other components look well made except that piece. The zipper did not secure the lip when zipped up even when I made multiple attempts to do so. I really like the concept and design otherwise. I hope the seller reads this and addresses the issue because that would really solidify this product on making it top quality.

One of the Coolest H2O Things to Have
The media could not be loaded. We bought this for teaching kiddos about water conservation, but this neat little product lends itself to numerous other educational & practical applications. We have a steady source of water (53 gallons) in case of poor and disastrous weather conditions, think Hurricane Harvey for a local connection and the 2011 East Africa drought for a global perspective.God forbid another disaster, but you know have access to 55 gallons of rain water in either case.Chetan

Poor design
For the price these are ok. I bought two, and they were fairly easy to assemble if you take the directions with a grain of salt. However, the “sealing” for the spigots is a joke. My dog bumped into the barrel while walking with me through our garden and it popped right off and now won’t seal. I’m sure I can manage to fix it myself with glue/caulking, but I really shouldn’t have to redneck rig it considering the money I spent. You do have to have an adapter if you plan to attach a hose and the filter is ok for leaves, but my bins were infested with mosquitoes within days and filled with dirt on the bottom. I’ll be rigging up a better filter top too…. As far as collapsing, both of mine have been completely full and held up with no problem and the overflow valve helped with that a lot when we got a tropical storm. Over all not a terrible product, but I definitely won’t be buying it again

LEAKS!
Purchased with purpose for indoor plant feeding. Arrived in great shape, easy to assemble. However, the legs have to slide vertical into a tight vinyl like material, not an easy task if you have larger hands or lack patience. I found pulling around the area to make material taunt def helped. As with any water items that have spouts, I used plumbers' tape, hoping to avoid any drips/leaks. Made sure gaskets on each side of vinyl for all the spickets as instructions read. First time, I sat it on the floor in my office and began to fill. Watching for leaks, all seemed good until the water reached the bottom spout. Thats where the issue is, couldn't stop the leak. Returned and the company was GREAT, sent me a replacement and I sent back the leaking unit. So, 2nd one arrives, this time i assemble same way, as per instructions still adding my plumber's tape & filled it up in the tub. I suggest tub or outside so that it's easy to dump if needed and if leaking, you won't have a huge mess. Needless to say, same issue occurred. Bottom spout leaks no matter which way I tried. If I was going to be using this outside, the leak wouldn't be an issue. Not recommended for indoors due to LEAK ISSUE.The company was very great about retuning both items and refunding me timely

Easy assembly
Easy to assemble. We've received lots of rain so it didn't take long to be able to use for plants and pets. Recycling rainwater!

I loved it, until it started to fill.
It's lightweight, sturdy and easy to assemble. Unfortunately the bottom spigot leaks. Not sure about the middle or top one yet because it won't fill any higher than the bottom one. I'm going to remove it and use the repair patches to seal it off. Maybe then I'll be able to use it. Great concept, poor design.
