This MTC puller worked where softer "ATV Works" puller failed. MTC is made from a harder grade of steel.
This puller worked where others failed. This tool by MTC successfully removed primary drive unit on our Kawasaki 4010 4x4 Diesel Trans. We originally used a Zinc Dichromate plated puller from "ATV Works" that was made from a softer steel, that deformed (tip bent) when we attempted to remove the primary drive unit Kawasaki Drive Converter / Primary Clutch Puller Tool Replaces OEM 57001-1429 (Also Fits Suzuki & Arctic Cat) . The ATV Works tool has a nice laser cut "ATV Works" marking on it but the steel is too soft. This Black Phosphate plated puller made by MTC, was a harder grade of steel, did not deform, and successfully removed the primary drive unit MTC 50026 Clutch Puller Tool for Kawasaki 57001 1429 238 5101 PCP 10 23 0820 on our Kawasaki 4010 4x4 Diesel Trans. The MTC unit was actually cheaper and performed better than the ATV Works tool.Additional tip: Recommend soaking the inner drive unit area with a penetrating oil and screwing on the puller to hold the oil in so it can help in removing the drive unit. Use of an impact wrench is also helpful. Also coat the threads with a never-seize compound. The drive unit will typically release with a sudden pop.

Perfect tool for the job
Bought a used brute force 750. The belt light came on soon after signaling belt replacement. Bought OEM and it was very tight. No way to roll it over the clutch wheel without stretching it. YouTubed and found this tool. Same brand, top quality. Need an impact tool to pop but it pulled the clutch right off. Not mark on the tool either. Highly recommended.

Worked perfectly
Pulled driven clutch on a Kawasaki 610 Mule. Worked perfectly. The clutch was not on too tight, so it was not really a true test. I have pulled clutches on Diesel Mules [driven] with the genuine Kawasaki puller. Had to use 4 foot pipe and really LEAN on it. Don't know if this puller would be strong enough for that.

Worked well.
You don't want a clutch tool to fail as the consequences are dire. It was worth the couple of extra dollars.

Succesfully Pulled Clutch on Kawasaki KVF300
Once I finished hand threading into the clutch, and was pushing on it with a breaker bar, it felt like the threads may be stretching and thought it may have reached the end of the threads before hitting the end. So I pulled it out and counted the threads, found that I hit the end (as it should) at 17 threads out of 25, and the clutch was very difficult to break out. Could not have done it without this tool.

Got the job done
Worked perfect to replace the belt on my 05 brute force 750. Oiled the threads and popped the primary off with a 24" ratchet. Glad I did because there was a bit of junk blocking the cvt intake behind the primary. Seemed like a good quality tool, didn't bend or break, I'd be totally comfortable using it again. Didnt want a cheap one to break off inside the primary, but at the same time I didnt want spend $60 on what is essentially a bolt. This was the happy medium.
