Nature Made Biotin 2500 mcg Extra Strength, 150 Softgels

I’ve been taking these biotin vitamins for a few weeks now and I’m already noticing a difference! My hair feels stronger and shinier, my nails are growing faster, and my skin looks healthier too. The vitamins are easy to take and don’t have a bad taste. Great quality for the price and definitely something I will keep buying!

Have been taking Biotin for several months now, in hopes that it helps to improve my fingernails. I have brittle nails. I believe it's due to my Hypothyroidism. I have tried lotions, nail polish strengtheners, and even eaten jello, as I've heard this helps to strengthen nails. But did not work for me. But Biotin seems to be helping so far, like I said it's been a few months of taking this, but with no results, until just recently. I guess it takes time to show positive results. So far now, my thumb nails are growing in stronger. But the other 8 fingernails still are thin and brittle. Hopefully soon the other 8 follow my thumbs. I am wondering if I should be taking this product in conjunction with another supplement, in order to help get results, as is the case with many vitamin supplements?? And although I don't take this for my hair, I must say, this product has made my hair grow out more softer and manageable. P.S. I will update review if there's a change in condition of my nails as time goes on. Update.. March 30, 2018.... I am still taking Biotin, but with slow results, as my nails continued to split upon new growth. I have added a Multivitamin to my daily supplement regime, but still continue taking Biotin as well. After only one month of the addition, my nails are finally coming in healthy! For me, it took a year of taking Biotin (and lately with multivitamin) to finally see results, and grow healthy nails!

I just finished the bottle. I have no other brand to compare it to, as I had not used this supplement before this purchase. The softgels are perfect little purple 'pearls' , so easy to swallow. I wish all supplements were made like this. My main purpose for making the purchase was for my hair to grow a little faster. I got a haircut about 6 months a go and the growing out process has been taking forever. I took 1 a day (2500mcg). What I noticed is my nails grew faster and stronger. My hair? Hair grows, typically without any supplements, BUT where my hair was thinning, around my hairline, specifically forehead, I started getting new hair!!! Super excited! Now, as for length? When I started I could not get my hair in a ponytail and now I can, and its up a few inches from my bottom hairline. So, although hair grows on its own,(keep in mind approximately 150 days have went by), I do believe the new hair and amount of new length have been encouraged by this supplement. I work with other ladies that use Biotin and get the same results and have had elderly patients (I am a nurse) that used it with great results. I cannot vow for what brand they use. But I used Nature Made and I am very happy with the progress.

My nails were always peeling and breaking really easily until I started using this regularly. I now rarely have issues with them. They are stronger and grow faster. I think it took a while for my nails to improve because the biotin can't really affect what's already grown, just the part that's growing when you take it. That's my theory anyway. My hair has been growing much faster too and I notice much less breakage on the top of my head so I think my hair is stronger too. I was hoping for an improvement in thickness and regrowth in parts that seem a little thinner than they used to be but I haven't seen that. The only downside is I have to get my hair cut and my nails done more frequently!
