This is a brand I had used in the past and for me it is effective and see positive results. I am overall a healthy person but it helps maintain my 24+in hair and it helps to keep the hair follicles stronger and less fall out. My recommended plan to take the 10,000 mg Biotin about every other day preferably after a meal. Though I am not a pill person, but this is smooth enough to swallow with ease.

Best biotin ever.I have had Horrible, HORRIBLE acne, thin hair, and brittle nails, most of my life. I still struggle with it to this day, being almost 30. I live quite the healthy, active lifestyle, with no medical anemias, yet still sometimes have the pizza face of a 15 yr old.This has helped change everything. Ever since I started taking 1 capsule before bed every night, with a 5oz full glass of filtered water, my overall physical appearance has become so much healthier, even my parents have noticed. Its taken months, but is so worth the time and wait.My skintone is a bit more even [I'm 75% irish, and usually very pink/red], my hair has become slightly fuller as it grows in, eyelashes have become thicker, "chicken skin" as i like to call it on the back of my arms, is smoother, and I get less noticeable pimples.They are shallow, and disapper in a day or 3. Biotin has helped improve my sleep quality w/continuity and/or the ability to return to sleep if I wake up. I've reached that point in a woman's life where nightly disruptions happen, and dealt w/this for a couple years before trying Biotin for aging. Turns out to be a win for both sides...since sleep is needed to reduce many aging related issues, it's a wonder Biotin isn't touted more as a supplemental source vs just magnesium or melatonin. Especially since most of us are low in the B's...Love Solgar products, use a few of their supplements and the quality is great!

I bought these pills to accelerate my natural hair growth and strengthen my hair. The big draw for me is that they are vegetarian (I don't eat gelatin). I take two pills daily. They are somewhat larger, not huge, but very easy to swallow. They have no negative smell or after taste like some hair pills. So far, I think they are working fairly well. They are not a miracle pill but they will improve hair growth. I also didn't have any acne problems from taking these pills, even at such a high dosage.

It was noted that this was a safe dosage with no bad side effects. There are many Biotin products with superlative percentages of Biotin; but I felt safer using the dosage that was used in the study.Also in the customer reviews, I noted the confidence the customers have in the Solgar brand. I was not familiar with this brand, but it seems others are because it has been trusted since 1947. Solgar Biotin comes in a glass bottle that is shipped in a small, brown cardboard box. It was placed inside an envelope with another vitamin I’d purchased.
