Does this knife have enough knuckle clearance so you can dice on a cutting board as you would with a normal 8" chef knife?

As you can see from the picture, it has less clearance than the 8-inch. You can chop with your cutting board over the edge of a table or hold the knife from the top.

I own the 8" chef's already. Is this 6 inch the same shape as the 8 inch chef knife? Can it rock back and forth on the cutting board?

I own another brand 8 inch that isn't Victorinox but no you will not be able to rock it back and forth. Its still great to add to to collection, U use 6 vs. 8 inch for many precision cuts.

Could this be a good steak knife?
