Works flawlessly - 4K @60Hz (Full RGB 10bit + FreeSync + DDC/CI)
Works flawlessly for me. Critically it does not seem to manipulate the signal at all, only redirects it which is great. The monitor appears to the OS & Display Driver exactly how they would if connected directly. DDC works exactly as normal also.I have only used this in the following configuration.| | <-- PC 1Monitor <- |Splitter|| |<-- PC 2Some behavioral notes:- When switching inputs, it appears to switch it electrically. Meaning a computer for example will react as if you just pulled the cable. This is perfect for my use case, but if you frequently switch between computers your windows may get rearranged as a display is connected and disconnected.- It does not remember your selected input if it looses power.- It requires a USB power supply. It does comes with a cable with the barrel connector, but no power supply.

Almost perfect for what i needed.
2nd one of these I have bough for a computer desk I am building. I have 3 monitors and am using these to switch between a dock with my work laptop and my PC.Only tested one so far. Nice metal case and really good quality build. It does need a USB port for power, and if the power drops it will always start on DP1.I can't say i have been able to test the quality, I don't have a system at the moment able to do that.Absolutely unique to my situation, I am planning on rewiring these to integrate into the desk so all cables are hidden. It's very nice that they open easily with screws and the switch is the standard common surface mount push button to easy to extend that to my switch panel. The only issue will be the LEDs which are tiny surface mount ones, though they do have markings for a standard round LED so may not be so bad to replace/extend.

No good for VR switching
Works great for switching monitor outputs, however not quite good enough for a clean signal through VR so not quite what I needed

Does not work from a surface dock
Trying to switch between a Surface Dock and a Surface Dock 2. Neither sources work with it. Or the output cable to the monitor does not work. Either way, just does not work for me.

Excellent product
Very happy with my purchase of this item, using it to split/switch between an extra monitor and my Vive Pro VR headset. Works perfectly for this and feels well-built and of good quality.

Unable to run two 5120x2160 inputs at 72Hz
This product works when lowering both input refresh rates below 60Hz, but with flickering/glitching every now and again. If I want to run two 5120x2160 inputs to a monitor output, I am forced to either lower the refresh rate or the resolution on the inputs otherwise glitching and flickering happen. Lowering the monitor's DP protocol from 1.4 to 1.2 solved the issue but without higher resolutions/HDR being available of course. The cables are fine, tested elsewhere. The USB power is on a standalone high quality power input. Will be returning. This is not a high performance item.EDIT: After making the cable between the switch and the monitor shorter, it works without flickering. The cable limit seems to be around 1m before things start to fail at higher refresh rates/resolutions. This should be made clear in the advert.

Does not work with long cables on input side
I had it set up with a PC and a laptop and was getting grey flashes on the PC side. Tried swapping cables but to no effect. Eventually fixed it when I tried a short cable from PC to switcher. Switcher to monitor does not seem to suffer from this issue though.Product otherwise easy to use and does what it says but beware issues with longer cables. One review mentions does not work with adapted inputs but I found it was fine with a USB_C to display port adaption.
