This works great on brakes but isn't why I purchased this one. That's hubby's department. I'm using it to vaccum seal dry pasta, candy, dehydrated fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds for longer and fresher storage in my pantry. Open take out what I need out of half gallon jar and revacumm seal. All you need is the attachment for regular mouth and wide mouth jars.I purchased that from Amazon Also.

I moved to another state and left a lot of tools back at our old home we signed over to my son.I needed to do a break job for a friend of my wife's. The bottom line is, this works.If your are only going to use this once or twice it does the trick.I have since gone home and brought back "my" bleeder.I would not recommend buying this if you plan on doing "many" jobs.It's perfect if you just need it for an occational bleeding but... the quality is not going to last.

Not enough power to really draw out the fluid. Wound up going old school.

Used this to bleed brakes and clutch on my Goldwing. Outstanding.

Hooked up to bleeder screw and started pumping the oil out. After a few minutes it stopped working. No suction at all. Internal seal(?) failure.

I watched a video by Rain Country onYouTube on vacuum sealing canning jars to store food. Particularly I have always had a problem with storing block cheese, especially cheddar which starts to mold after it is opened. By vacuum sealing canning jars with this brake bleeder, it keeps the cheese from molding. Rain Country Homestead is a great channel to learn things.

Will use it eventually. When weather cools off.But I think it will do the job nicely.
