Fantastic - every bit as good as the first book
This is an excellent book - every bit as good as the original. I won't repeat everything about it as everything I wrote in my review of the first book holds for the second, but basically it's the most original fantasy i've ever read - really the first complete, coherent, original world since Tolkien's Middle Earth (and very different from it) ; the characters are highly interesting, believable and easy to identify with ; and it kept me constantly interested to find out what was going to happen next and what had happened in the past of the characters and the history of their world.

Phenomenal
This was my first interaction with Sanderson's work and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended for the start of an epic fantasy with deeply emotional moments and beautiful world building.

Amazing
A book i just can't and don't want to put down once read. Its amazing, gripping and more than worth it. Its a experience you should try because gawd damn it !! I love this BOOK. The characters you really do get to care for, to understand them and not shun them away. This book is really amazing espically with the epic's happening and the true un-folding beginning in this part two of Book one. I will defiantly be looking out for The Stormlight Archive and will pre-order it without a hesitation.Though its better if you read part one before this one in my opinion, anyhow 5/5 GOB SMACKING GLORIOUS.

Not flawless, but the world he is creating is fascinating and original, and can't wait for the next one.
First off, I should say what would get 5 stars so you know if I am a good comparitor: "name of the wind" and the first "game of thrones" both get a 5 from me. I liked his first 'mistborn' trilogy, which would also get a 5. If you haven't read it, check it out, it's great, and although this looks more epic, the 'Mistborn' trilogy was largely flawless in my opinion. This is a very different world, and a very very original one. The landscape, plants, magic all unique to this series. The books are not flawless: on a couple of occasions the dialogue jarred, and one of the characters annoyed me to such an extent I skipped her chapters and then when back to them at the end ( seperate storyline so can do this). Was glad i did as the extra dimension this character opens up at the end is huge (but still a highly annoying character). But the actual story and way the world and its history is created step by step kept me going and I will most definitely buy the next installment when its out (i sometimes cant be bothered to carry on a series if it doesnt grab me).It looks like this will be far larger than a trilogy - no bad thing but it will mean a long wait till the end if you catch this series early. In conclusion: highly recommended. In parts it would have benefitted from a bit of a polish, but the story is just too intriguing, and the world and magic too fascinating to give this anything less than a solid 4 stars.

Good Stuff!
Great Series, Great Author, Great impatience waiting for the next in the series! Can't complain as Brandon Sanderson is a beast for churning out brilliant books in no time at all, seriously I think there's something wrong with him, but i love it.I guess what i'm trying to say is buy this book, buy his other books,do it,now, you wont regret it.I got into this series after the WoT series, if you like one you'll like the other.

Confusion of book numbers but a very good read
The titles are very confusing as this is the 2nd book, but part of book 1. Words of Radiance: The Stormlight Archive Book Two: is actually the 3rd book in this series. The Way of Kings has some very different and new ideas, and the story is told well, which is why I have bought the next book in the series. It is going to be set over 10 volumes, but doesn't say how many books.

Nice edition, especially for the very agreeable price
It's a pleasant to look at hardcover, with a back that doesn't die as soon as it's read properly(like some other editions of this series ;) )

Obra bien ejecutada y adictiva

Best Epic Fantasy Ever
When I finished #TheWayofKings I had a strange moment of enlightenment. It suddenly felt like, all the reading I did so far, was actually a preparation, a practice run so that I could read THIS one. This book (and series), feels like the one thing I was meant to read. I couldn’t help but feel absolutely blessed to be in the generation where it comes out, even though we’ll all be waiting more than a decade for it to complete.~ #TheStormlightArchive ~Ongoing series projected at 10 books, split into 2 arcs of 5 books each. This is among the many books/series under Cosmere (Mistborn,Elantris,Warbreaker etc),which is kinda like Brandon’s own MCU.What you get?* Each book is 1000+ pages long.Be prepared.* World Building! Oh wow! Brandon takes ‘immersive’ to the next level. We are introduced to every single thing present in this world – the culture, gender differences, ethnicity... By the end of the book, you will know ‘Roshar’ like you know your own continent.* The Lore & Legends were crafted beautifully! This has one of the best ‘Prelude’ I have read so far and we’ll be trying so hard to find connections throughout the book.* The Magic System is complex and vast. It is powered by ‘Stormlight’, unique to the world. The 10 different ‘Surges’ are introduced slowly in each of the books in the series.* The best thing is definitely the characters. So completely fleshed out that it feels like they are actual living breathing humans. We see them suffer and in pain and will be rooting at every page. By the end, I was ready to die for any one of them (except the a**holes).* Action! OMG! The sequences had me on edge! I was crying at the end of this one. It was so satisfying! Every fast sequence in the book had me gripping my paperback so tight.* By the end, you will start worshiping Brandon Sanderson, because he is a freakin’ genius. ‘Masterpiece’ is still a small word for this one.I binge-read the first 3 books, so I had to go back and check where each book ended and the next began. Personally, 1000 pages was too less for me. Trust me, you will feel the same. You would wish this book would never EVER end.Nothing can beat Stormlight for me.Nothing.❤
