Art Deco Hardcover – Illustrated, 30 Sept. 2013

Product arrived in excellent time and in great condition, very well illustrated book with plenty of coloured images and substantial present for somebody. Really good value for money.

Purchased as Xmas gift for my wife who absolutely loved it. Beautifully illustrated and covering a multitude of different disciplines within the overall Art Deco complex. Very impressive indeed.

Excellent book and customer service.

I was a bit disappointed that there is so little sculpture from the period covered. As the previous reviewer points out, it is top heavy with paintings.Also the paper quality is matt rather than glossy, which loses something I think.I'm glad I didn't spend the RRP of £60!I think if you're a fan of deco you'll find this an in depth and well researched book.

I received the Art Nouveau book Norbert Wolf had written as a present last year and knew I had a treat in store when I ordered it. The period is explained in great details with examples coming from different areas of the globe. I will go back to it again and again!

This is a very beautiful book with wonderful colour plates of Art Deco artefacts. The problem is the pretentious and tiresome text which seemed to me to be narcissistic attempt by the author to be academically clever rather than reflecting someone had the genuine aim of being informative to the non specialist. What a waste of the high production values that went into the making of this book.
