A must for Yamaha E-bike motors.
Makes a 20mph Haibike with Yamaha motor a 27mph bike in highest gear.

For very old PW only (prior 2018) - Does not work with 3-sensor, 4-sensor PW-SE, -TE, -X2
Bought this item because it was supposed to fit all Yamaha Motors. That is not true. This Speedbox does not work on 2019 and newer models with 3 and 4 sensor systems (PW-SE, PW-TE, PW-X2). See all reviews for Yamaha bikes: Civante, Cross Core, Cross Connect, Yox Moro, Wabash. Those run on 2019 3-sensor PW-SE .... It only seems to work on older PW-X versions (e.g. Haibike Sduro 2017-2020). Those sensors you‘ll find online anywhere for $120 or less. So, this is a complete rip-off. Don‘t waste your time on this. I‘m just glad that Amazon has good return policies. But, I still wasted a lot of time... If you have a 2020 or later Yamaha motor search for Redped or Blueped. These are chips developed in Germany and sold at different online stores. They offer options to retune your ride modes. Or check on newer versions of the Speedbox on their homepage.

Does not work on Yamaha Urban Rush
The product is not compatible with the Urban Rush, I got an email from the Speedbox company which said they are working on an Urban Rush compatible chip but do not have one at the present time.

Did not work on my Yamaha YDX TORC
Followed all instructions, but it didn’t work. It would not show bike speed. Instead, I got a mssg that said “Check Wheel Magnet.” This bike does not use a magnet. Bike works fine once I uninstalled it.

2019 Yamaha Urban Rush
This chip couldn't detect my speed sensor. Getting an error on my display. Could be defective unit?

Assolutamente perfetto, facile da installare (la parte più impegnativa è raggiungere i connettori vicino al motore, ma dipende dalla bici) e non intacca assolutamente il normale funzionamento dell'elettronica originale, semplicemente rimuove il limitatore quando attivato, nel mio caso, dal pulsante luci.
