Helly-Hansen Mens Tromsoe Down Jacket

This thing is awesome! When I put it on, I immediately noticed how comfortable it was. Feels like it was custom, made for me. Sizing is right on the money. (5'.10" 185lbs) It keeps me warm at freezing temperatures and, repels water. I've been impressed by the quality of this brand since day one!

It doesn't normally get colder than 30 degrees F where I live but cold fronts can hit when you least expect it. I'm also once in a while in a colder area and need something that can handle whatever Mother Nature throws at me. This Helly Tromsoe jacket is it! Warm, quality look & feel, great zippers, hood, fit adjustments, pockets and its a little longer in the back than most jackets. It is not lightweight or packable but it is a superb Winter coat. I love it and the beluga green/gray color is really sharp. I'm ready for Winter...anywhere...in this one. Sick deal on this here, too. A+ product, packaging and shipping. Thanks, HH and Amazon.

I bought this coat to keep me warm when temps get below 25 degrees and it does the job. It's very warm and yet fairly light weight. Like it very much

The buttons that are used to attach the hood are poorly made and result in the hood falling off in a string wind. There is a pouch in the large chest pocket that would be great for a phone but it is too close to the top of the pocket and you can't get a phone into it. When fully zipped up the collar is tight around your neck and comes up only to the bottom of your chin. Overall, this seems to be well made (except for the buttons) but suffers from sub-standard design.

The title of this jacket says: "Helly-Hansen Mens Tromsoe Down Jacket", but in its product description, it says: "Fabric type100% Polyamide, Care instructions Machine Wash, Origin: Imported". Unlike other product: Helly-Hansen Mens Verglas Icefall Down Jacket, the description says: care instructions: Hand Wash Only and "FEATURES: 20D Nano ripstop down proof fabric, Allied Down 85/15 European goose". This is cheating by the marketers and is totally unacceptable.

La tuve que devolver porque la talla M me venía un poco estrecha, pero se ve que es una chaqueta cálida, aunque tal vez no para frío extremo, pero no pude probarla, claro. Se veía elegante. Hacen chaquetas muy bonitas esta marca.

Excelente en fríos secos de -2Celsius, totalmente aislado y repelente al agua.. la Volvería a comprar.

Purchased in navy for my husband. Great fit and ideal when temperatures drop to freezing. He didn't need to layer up under the jacket. The jacket is extremely well made with a robust zip and looks very smart. He particularly likes the good spacious pockets both inside and outside and the overall weight not being too heavy. The HH logos on the jacket are quite subtle which is an important consideration for my husband.
