Amazon Essentials Men's 6" Inseam Drawstring Walk Short

I was really looking forward to these shorts. I carefully researched all my options and decided to go with Goodthreads because of the price and the good reviews.The product image is incredibly deceiving. The model wearing them must have legs like tree trunks, because these are ridiculously wide all the way through. They feel like an oversized pair of boxers much more than shorts. I have no doubt the one shorts in the image were hemmed in.Going to try returning these, except the packaging states they need to be unworn and unopened in order to be returnable (would've been nice to know that earlier). I'm sure this will lead to a fun conversation with Amazon support.

This is a review for a pair of large light chambray 6" cotton shorts.I am happy that fashion trends are allowing American men to wear shorter shorts again. I am 5'8" and 200#. I wear 36 waist pants and jeans and size large shirts and t-shirts. So, short and stocky. When I wear longer shorts, I look even shorter and wider. These shorts are fashion forward for the hip crowd but traditional enough for other folks as well.The fit is comfortable, not too loose, not too tight. The cotton fabric is fairly lightweight and feels like a chambray shirt. The side pockets are deep so I don't worry about items falling out. The back pocket is deep. The velcro tab is sometimes difficult to fasten but items stay in securely. The elastic goes all the way around and holds the shorts up but if I put things in the pockets the pants will slide down if I don't tie the drawstring. The string is a heavy blue and white cord so it coordinates with the color of the shorts themselves. The string is long enough to easily tie but not too long to distract. If you wear an untucked shirt, others are not likely to see it.I previously purchased the same shorts in the 8" length in gray. Those are no longer available. The only difference is the 2" shorter length. The 6" shorts have the same sturdy construction and features as the 8" shorts.Would I buy more of these? Absolutely. I keep looking to see if they're going on sale so I could add at least one more pair to my closet.

The quality is good. The price is OK. But there is no style to the shorts. I don't know why retailers can't design shorts with more interesting fabrics and attractive styling. The selections are always blah blah blah.

Absolutely love these shorts. Got them for my boyfriend for around the house, running errands and weekend trips! At first he didn’t like the idea of the elastic Waistband or drawstring But as a woman who likes leggings and hates pants I thought they looked super comfy. Well, they arrived today and he will not take them off so it looks like we are getting them in a few more colors and purchasing for Christmas gifts for all the men in the family. Perfect pants for fishing, hiking, or even lazy brunch on a Sunday when you want to look like you put in a little effort. 5 stars

I have been using Amazon Essentials 8" shorts for my everyday shorts for some time now, I was disappointed to fine them out of stock in almost every color and style for an extended time so went looking for something similar and came across these 6" shorts. I worried that they would be different or tight or too short... but as far as I can tell they are the exact same short as the slightly longer ones. I actually prefer these for athletic activity, At this price...it is hard to go wrong and I usually order several pairs in different colors I wear out others.In terms of construction...each has two side pockets of good depth. No fly. Well designed tie cord that is long and rugged to hold up to stress and repeated washings. Will continue to by both these 6" and the 8" if they ever come back in stock.

I was looking for decently priced shorts, I got average shorts that fit the bill and are what they are advertised as. Win, win.

Shorts are very comfortable and come a bit above the knee. The only issue is that the leg hole opening is a bit too large for me and the color is a lot darker than in the picture.

Great shorts, with 6inch inseam even though the title changes to 7inch at checkout??Good weight material for summer and most of all 100% cotton (which genius decided it was sensible to fill summerwear with sweat inducing plastics??). There is even a bonus back pocket-the description claimed there is no back pocket.

Pleased with the quality and sizing - a bit on the large size which is preferable to the alternative and they are shorts which means that precise sizing really doesn't matter.

The length, too many shorts are very long

Attenzione alle taglie: ho ordinato la mia solita taglia (M per 1,71 di altezza e 65kg) ma seppur in vita sia perfetto, di gamba è fin troppo largo e lo rende esteticamente imperfetto. Non intendo ordinarne uno di taglia inferiore per via delle forme. Peccato perchè i materiali sono convincenti...

Pantaloni molto belli. Grafica e colori come in foto, tessuto spesso ma non pesante.Unica pecca vestono un pochino grandi.Il mio compagno porta una 46, e con la s veste giusto, ma comunque morbido.Ne ho aquistati 2, quindi consiglio
