Makes great matcha latte
I really like this Jeju matcha powder. It comes in convenient packet sticks that are easy to use on the go. I used it to make matcha latte and it was delicious. It has a rich flavor with a mild bitterness. It is refreshing and delightful to drink. It tastes great as a hot latte too. This comes in a retail box containing 5 sticks. It is originated in Jeju Island, South Korea. Fine quality and fresh. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with this Korean matcha powder. Great flavor and fresh. It's worth giving it a try. Good stuff.

Artificially Sweetened but Convenient
I enjoyed these matcha sticks for their convenience, but there aren't many servings for the price. Though I liked the flavor, my partner found it too sweet for his taste.

70% Erythritol
This review is for, “Osulloc Matcha Powder Stick (5ea, 2.4oz), Single serve stick packs, Farm Direct from Jeju Island, Perfect for Matcha Latte”. This product has a nice flavor. However, the listing does not disclose all the ingredients. Initially, I sent the following inquiry to Amazon and then the seller, “Hello, before I selected this product, I read the product description and there was no mention of added sweeteners. After I received it and tried it, I realized that I could taste a sweetener, so I went back to the product listing to double check. In the images, it is disclosed that there are "natural sweeteners" but nowhere on the product page does it disclose what the sweetener is. I have sensitivities to a lot of sweeteners, both artificial and natural. There is no ingredient list on the box or the listing. Perhaps it is disclosed in the Korean language, but not in English. Can I please ask what specific sweetener they use? Thank you!” I received no response to my inquiry. Thankfully, I learned about google translate and learned that this contains 70% erythritol, as well as D-xylose and enzyme-processed stevia. First, it is questionable whether erythritol is a natural sweetener. It is considered either natural or synthetic, depending on how it is processed. Second, the FDA has classified it as “Generally Recognized as Safe” because it is found naturally in trace amounts in produce and the human body. However, researchers have been concerned that the amount of erythritol used to sweeten food and beverages is a great deal more than what occurs naturally. Researchers with the Cleveland Clinic studied over 4,000 people in the U.S. and Europe and found those with higher blood erythritol levels had an increased risk of experiencing a major adverse cardiac event such as heart attack, stroke or death. They were also able to determine that having participants drink a single beverage, sweetened with a typical amount of erythritol, caused multiple days of elevated blood levels of erythritol and those levels were even greater than those observed to enhance clotting risks. Bottom line, people should have the opportunity to decide for themselves what they want to put into their own body and these ingredients should be available in the product description.

Very convenient and easy to make Matcha
This product is great for quickly making a cup of matcha on the go. It comes with simple, easy-to-follow instructions, and you can have a cup of matcha ready in no time. While it’s convenient, it does contain artificial sweeteners, so the taste can be a bit overly sweet. That said, the matcha flavor itself is pleasant and pairs especially well when mixed with oat milk. The powder dissolves easily, even in cold water, and doesn’t leave a sandy texture behind. Overall, it’s a great option for convenience, though it may not be the highest quality matcha.

Really sweet... but not in a good way
I tried it, but was immediately aware of the too-sweet signature of "alternative sweeteners." I've never been able to drink diet sodas or other artificially sweetened drinks, either, simply because I can't stand things that are too sweet -- and this definitiely falls into that category. I couldn't tell what was in it from the packaging (All the sales pitch text -- ie, "Tasty Matcha Drink" or "Ready brew matcha"-- and preparation information appear in English, but the nutritional information is written entirely in Korean). I now see that the listing here mentions several "alternative sweeteners," so I suppose if you like diet drinks, you might enjoy these packets, but they're certainly not for everyone. I'd definitely suggest that the manufacturer also translate the entire box (especially the nutritional information) for the local markets in which this is sold.

Matcha Powder Sticks!
I recently tried, Osulloc Matcha Powder Stick (5ea, 2.4oz), Single serve stick packs, Farm Direct from Jeju Island, Perfect for Matcha Latte and here is what I thought of it. I liked these matcha powder sticks. There were 5 packets in the package and they were pre sweetened. I just followed a recipe with just milk, the powder and some ice and it was so good. I like that these are individually packaged. It makes it very convenient. I would recommend.

Great for on the go, but I prefer regular matcha for at home use.
I wish they printed ingredients in English on the box, or even added a sticker to it. These appear to be matcha with some sort of sweetener. I had to look up the ingredients to this online, which list, ***"Erythritol, Organic green tea powder, D-xylose, enzyme-treated stevia".*** I've heard of tea from Jeju before and have wanted to try it for awhile. Jeju is known for its tea. The taste is mild, and is earthier and sweeter than matcha powder that I have tried before, but it lacks the complexity of flavor I have had with some high grade matcha (which this is similarly priced to). It tastes decently good, but it does not stand out to me. This is something nice to have on the go. I wouldn't consider it as healthy as if it was just matcha powder, but I understand many people want a nice drink while out, and this is surely something easy to keep in your bag or in an office drawer, but for drinking at home I will probably continue to keep the matchas I have.

easy to make
Mixed mine with unsweet almond milk, since the packs were already sweetened with zero cal sugar alternatives. Tasted just fine! Easy to whip with frother. Only thing I’d have liked was for there to be something in English on the packaging. Easily translated with phone though!
