Don't Believe the Bad Reviews
You shouldn't be able to leave a bad review for a product based on your lack of skill to use said product. Anything new takes time to become proficient.I've purchased these twice now and love them. Yes, they can be a bit challenging to put on at first, but like anything new, it takes some trial and error. I watched tutorials and tried the applicator, and in the end I found a way that worked for me.I place the lashes somewhere close to eye level so that I don't have to look down to pick them up (I've used a windowsill with my portable makeup mirror). I use my right hand to place the top strip on my right eye, then use my left pinky finger to hold it in place while I grab the lower lash with my right hand and place it under my lashes on my right eye. I do the opposite for my left eye. This works great for me.Some people mentioned the shape not matching the curve of their lid. That's like saying you can't find socks that are the exact shape of your feet. Duh! Everyone has different shaped eyelids. I softly flex the lash strip so that it takes on a slight curve, until it matches my eye shape. I have also trimmed the lash straps to better match the length of my eye and to have some shorter ones that give me a more subdued look for casual wear.As for staying put, sometimes by the end of the day they slide a little, but it's easy to take them off and pop them right back on.

The worst
First, I only use magnetic lashes as my skin is very sensitive and reacts to all glues and magnetic eyeliners. Thought these were worth a try, nope! Magnets are weak, and kept sliding around. The applicator is a joke and is by far the worst Iโve used as lashes refuse to stay in place. I tried several times but the magnets were so weak that they were not worth the hassle. Save your $ and go with a better brand because these arenโt it.

I cheated
So I was YouTubing on eye makeup for older women and saw a woman using this brand and she sure made it look easy, so I ordered some. I tried magnetic lashes a few years ago, the ones that are applied with a magnetic type liner and quit on them but saved them. So with this brand, I spent an hour a day for about 4-5 days with absolutely no luck. I tried everything, but I was determined. I have a big social event this weekend and I wanted to look better. I did not want a full set of lashes across my eyes, just accents on the ends. So I took the old magnetic liner out of the old box, applied it on the outer area of my eye, positioned the upper lash and boom. Instant adhesion. The lower lash just bumped right into place and hallelujah, we have beautiful lashes. Easy Peasy. I've had them on for a few days now wearing them everyday and I don't even notice them. I remove them at night and remove the liner and shadow with my remover, and it's all done. SOOOO if you've throw these things in the trash and gave up, might try buying the older sets with the magnetic eyeliner to hold them in place. They're all pretty cheap price-wise, so it's not like anybody is out big money. It certainly is worth it and my husband - who doesn't notice much of anything - actually eyeballed me face to face and said Wow, your eyes are gorgeous. THANK YOU! Mission accomplished!

Originally good, material changed
1. Most of the poor reviews are from new users and they just can get the hang of applying the lashes. Don't give up! After a few tries, you'll love the results and it will get easier and easier. I pop mine on in seconds now.2. The easiest way to put them on is to use your fingers, lay a row on the top of your lashes, manipulate it into the best place, and then place the bottom lash into place. You can also wiggle them left or right a bit, afte they're already on.3. Sometimes when you put them on they appear to be laying in a straight line acrosss the eyelid, but you can use your fingers to push them from underneath into more of a half-moon shape.4. You can also help them stay a half moon shape by putting them away properly. After you've put each lash back in the case, push gently up in the middle of each of the lash lines, until they all have a little arch to them. Storing this way helps you get that natural arc more easily when you put them on next time.5. These stay on best, and look most natural, if you have mascara on first. When I've tried putting them on without, they slide around more. The mascara should be completely dried. The lashes grip well and won't budge with the rougher surface of your own lashes. If your mascara isn't fully dry when you apply the lashes, it will stick and be hard to pull apart later. You may even lose a couple of your lash hairs getting it apart.6. To remove without mal-shaping the lashes, lightly hold the top and bottom of your whole lash line like a pinch, then rub your fingers together gently and slowly with the lashes between the fingers, and the magnets will separate easily from each other. Then pull off one lash line at a time. They need to detach from each other before you peel them off.Voila! Beautiful, non-fake looking eyelashes.Buuuuuut -I've been ordering these for years, and this batch is different. You can see that some of the lashes have too-long a filament, and it goes past the lash hairs. That frequently happens and I cut off the extra bit hanging off. This time it was hard to cut. I actually couldn't succeed, even with my extra sharp little scissors. The material holding the lashes seems to now be some kind of wispy fabric or thread, rather than the tiny wire they have always used.I strongly dislike this. First, I can't cut the extra bits off the sides, but now the whole lash piece is weak and flimsy. It doesn't hold its shape, and they're clearly misshapen in the case. After just one wear. The magnets are also shorter in length than they were before. You can tell, if you scroll through user review images. This product has been changed.I just started using this pack, but I don't have high hopes they will last or look right past a couple of wears. Please make these with the original material again! I'm hoping I don't have to change brands.I would edit this review to 5 stars if the maker changed back to the original design and material. ๐๐๐๐๐

Update: LEARNING CURVE but good
The media could not be loaded. Okay. After watching several tutorials and trying 1,000 times, I finally got them on. Really, it did take me 1.5 hours to put them on the first time.1. When on, I feel a little bit, but nothing horrible. I feel like that will dissipate whenI get used to them.2. EASY to take off. Slide gently to get apart.3. BE CAREFUL. They drop quickly and hard to find. Keep magnetic case under you.4. My technique was with fingers. Tool is useless.5. Perfect it BEFORE putting on eye make up and doing it. I hardly had any mascara or eye make up on the first time. Of course, I wanted to wear them out to an event. LOLNEXT DAY! Right lash went in pretty smoothly. Left still a little struggle, but I had them both on with 20 minutes. PROGRESS!
