Super Strong ! It's works 100%
This stuff is amazing, bought several things to fix a cupboard hinge fixing and nothing worked , would have involved buying tools for just one job or a whole stretch of wall cupboard in the kitchen. And this popped up. Absolutely perfect fixed and held the hinge in situ ...life saver and wallet saver. Door has been up and working on the cupboard over a month now and being used several times a day.

It works, but it's not quick set, so bare that in mind.
I was wary with this product as I usually use Devcon, but that carries a premium price now, so I gave this a go. It mixes easily if not a tad too wet, but given time it thickens and sets. Setting time is best left overnight, but I can't knock it. Has worked well, and has proven to be sandable. Nothing gets 10/10, but this is a solid 9/10. I used it btw on a model with 50 yr old plastic, and on mounting ski bindings.

Excellent, strong and resistant to temperature
There is an error in the product picture, which contains an incorrect strength figure. I attach the correct photos of the packaging. The same information is verified with J-B Weld web site. Refer to their web site for safety info, the product is reasonably safe. I also include photos of my project with this product – a hinge bonded to Ni-Ti metal of Flexon glasses. The strength figure 5020psi is about a lump of cured epoxy being pulled apart. Its bonding strength is lower, somewhere about 3000psi for steel, 2000psi for aluminium, both degreased and roughened, less for plastics and glass. This means that gluing two parts together, it makes sense to also spread some of this product on the adjacent to the contact area, thus increasing the bonding area. It is not mentioned for this particular product, but similar epoxies bond up to 25% stronger if cured at about 40C rather than room temperature. This epoxy thickens slow, within 4-6 hours, and then gains strength throughout the following 15-24 hours. So, give it time to develop. I would not trust the marketing statement about 550F (288C) temperatures, because it is probably not its Tg (glass transition temp, almost complete loss of "strength"), although who knows! Most epoxies have Tg around 60C-80C. It would be interesting to find out Tg for J-B Weld original! The only negative is its colour - clear epoxies look more tidy. Great product, I used it in the past with great success.

Worked fine - did the job I wanted
Use to repair / plug hole in lawn mower deck. The deck of the law mower had rusted through in places and I used this as a metal filler to plug the holes after I cleaned them up. Seem to have done the job.

great stuff, sticky and messy to mix, impossible to make this stuff look nice but that isn't the point. Sets rock solid

Sets solid like metal
This stuff sets solid, i used it on my winding washing line , I originally opted it to the pole but the rivbolt's i used failed as the pole.is too thick. I was looking for a solution instead of drilling through and bolting it all the way through (as the pole is an old scaffolding pole and its really thick.) I put this on and it went off in 24hrs, give it 48 hrs before you use what you have reapird though as it gives it time to cure and it is solid. It looks a bit messy but i will yry and paint it, definerly worth the money
