The plastic slip on extensions its comes with are absolutely worthless. They fall off immediately under the pressure pff the foam getting psih through. A small zip tie that I added only kept those extensions on for 3 seconds longer.Gun works well so far, and fits Great Stuff brand Pro containers. Their foam construction adhesive is a bit thicker and doesn’t seem to work great with it, but the Gaps and Cracks formula flows very well through it.I am using this in conjunction with 2” EPS foam to insulate my rim joists, and to close up my crawlspace vents.The extension pieces, besides falling off and being completely useless- were not nearly long enough of flexible enough to allow me to get into the spaces necessary.I attached about 20” of thick walled clear fuel hose to the end of the gun which is held on tight with a hose clamp. At the other end of the hose I pressure fit about a 3” length of 3/16” brass tube (i think that is the size, just some scrap I already had). The brass tube is more controllable for the end of the hose and has a much smaller outer diameter. This setup allows me to reach anywhere!You must also buy the gun cleaner cans, and make sure your thoroughly clean up after every single use, running it through all tubes until totally clear.

This product simply doesn't work. I know it doesn't work, because the seller was nice enough to send me a replacement when the first one didn't work, and the second one had the exact same problem.What's the problem? You can't attach a can of anything (spray foam, or the cleaner) and have it not trigger the spray. Not even just for a moment as you're screwing it on, but it stays triggering whatever you attach, even when fully screwed on.The first time I tried this gun, I screwed on the spray foam (great stuff, brand name), and after a couple of twists, it activate the can, and the foam went everywhere. I would have taken pictures, but it happened to be a bright orange foam and I had to clean it up quickly. There are still stains all over everything it touched.I tried adjusting the tension screw in the back: all the way in, all the way out, in the middle - same problem no matter what. So I asked them to send me a replacement. By now I've figured out just to test with the cleaner bottle, so I try the new gun with that - exact same issue. Activates the can, cleaner spraying out the sides within a few twists, and doesn't stop even when fully screwed in.So, explain to me how you could ever use this gun. I feel guilty for the two piles of useless metal and packaging going in the landfill. Maybe I can at least make use of the plastic tubes.

Great deal for spray foam guns. I bought one for all different types of foam. They last through a building season and will last longer if you clean and take care of them.

I accidentally bought a $15 can of spray I needed a gun for so I bought the gun to very upset with the mess it made. The trigger is not working for one thing and part way through screwing the can on it oozed out everywhere. So that's $32 and a pair of gloves I ruined in the garbage. plus a big mess. I still oozed everything out of can and slapped it in there. Id give it 0 if I could but because amazons awesome and refunded me for the gun and most of the can I gave them 3. 5 stars to amazon. I will definitely make sure I get cans with applicator tubes from now on when I'm doing small jobs around the house. I don't see how this is any easier anyway
