Perfect solution!
Perfect solution for a growing dancer! My daughter’s ballet teacher recommended these and at first I was skeptical and my daughter complained that they felt tight but after a few wears they seemed to mold to her foot and she says they are more comfortable than her leather split sole shoes. So far she has had them for almost 1 year which is longer than previous pairs. They are cloth so they do get dirty easily but I absolutely love that they are washable! I put them in a garment bag in the washing machine and they cleaned right up and we’re back to their ballet pink color. I air dried them.

The best ballet shoes
I have been teaching ballet for 20 years, & these are my absolute favorite shoes. I wear a 9.5-10 in street shoes & buy an 8 in these. If I was still dancing, I would buy a 7.5. To everyone out there who says these are too small, that is how ballet shoes are supposed to fit. You want them to fit your feet like a glove & show off every part of your beautiful tendu. You do not go on your toes in these! That is what pointe shoes are for. You balance on the balls of your feet in releve. The elastic inside is there so it will hug the arch of your foot. If these are slipping off your heels, then they are too big. These last me 11 months, & I teach 6 classes a week in them. I can’t believe they last this long, considering they are canvas. Bloch split soles have been my go to shoe for at least 25 years. I highly recommend these, & you don’t have to go to the dance store to buy them. 🩰

Good but better with padding
I am a size 6-6 1/2 in street shoes and ordered these in a size 8. I tried ordering smaller but they were unbelievably tight. I have slightly wider feet and toes that need to spread. I also wanted a larger size so I could add two layers of shoe pads, which has been a game changer. A lot of ballet flats are unfinished on the inside, and I find the lumpy seams, along with the lack of insole, very uncomfortable. Ordering a larger size and padding them out has significantly improved my dancing. They stay on just fine and still feel snug and comfy. My teacher said my feet looked beautiful, so I don't think it's obvious.

Runs a size small if you go by the chart, but great shoe!
LOVE how this shoe conforms to my foot. It took me three tries to find the shoe size that works. I wear a size 8 for the most part in my street size, so I started with a size 6 as the chart says. It was way too small so I then went with a 6.5, which was still a tad too small for my liking. The 7 fits me perfectly. I’m excited to test it out in ballet class tomorrow!

Great shoe for begginers
I did ballet from age 3-13 and just started again at age 20. This is the perfect shoe for any beginner. One thing I would recommend is sizing up. I put in the size of my street shoe that correlates with their sizing and it was slightly too small and a little tight but Amazon was great at swapping it out with me. I have pretty narrow feet so the shoe wasn't as narrow as desired but that is a me issue, not a shoe issue. Overall this is a great slipper and would recommend it to any beginner.

Extremely small!
I gave 3 starts due to the sizing. These run very very small! I measured my daughter's foot which was 8.2 inches. I ordered a size 2.5 which (according to the size chart) would measure 8.3 inches heel to toe. When I got the shoe in it was extremely small! I pulled out my ruler to measure the shoe and it only measured 7in. That's a whole 1 1/4 inches short. I was upset because she has a recital coming up and now I have to order a different pair and pray they get here on time. I re-ordered a size 4 and hope they will fit. I suggest ordering 3 sizes up from what the size chart suggests. My daughter is a street size 2.

Very beautiful but running small
They are beautiful and quality but very small. We had to buy size 7 to fit for my daughter i,instead of 2.
