Solid heat resistant gloves. Great for working with hot items from the oven or grill. Do not use for grabbing coals or extremely hot items. The silicone grip pads have a lower melting point than the ignition temp of the gloves. Note also that the heat resistance rating is based on how long they can survive until failure at a given temperature. Not an indication of complete thermal isolation. So the EN407 rating means that they can:1. Survive 15 seconds of being on fire before failing.2. Take more than 15 seconds to increase from starting temp by 10 C (50 F) when exposed to 100 - 500 C (212 F to 932 F).Think of them more as dexterous grippy pot holders than gloves that turn you into a fire defying superhero.Keep contact with hot items to as short a period as possible. And because they are knit, note that things like steam or other hot gasses are going to permeate them and reach your skin faster than grabbing a hot cookie sheet or cast iron pan with them.In short, excellent gloves for what they are rated to do.

My wife and I have used these gloves for a couple of weeks. We like them. We've used them only with a kitchen oven. They give us more dexterity than mittens and almost as much heat resistance. Try picking up a small baking potato or a fork with mittens. With these gloves, it's easy.A word of warning, they fit tight. If you consider yourself "heavy", you will probably find these too tight to get into. I'm 5'11" and 175#. At 190#, I would have trouble getting into them. In the same vein, they do take several more seconds to put on.Would I recommend them? Yes! But only to my thin friends.

I bought these gloves to serve dual purpose getting items out of the oven and off of a charcoal grill. They serve their purpose well! They are easy to put on, extremely heat resistant, and grip items well. I pre-heated a cast iron pan to 500 degrees and handling it was no problem with these gloves.As a woman with long fingers, I sometimes have a hard time finding gloves that fit, and these fit me well. I give them 4 starts though because they don’t really fit my husband, the fingers are rather narrow and he has a hard time fitting his hand in them. He has large hands though, so they would probably fit most people just fine. Thinking of giving them as Christmas gifts.

I've never owned oven gloves before (only mitts) and these gloves are very heat resistant, comfortable and have good grip control which is one of the main advantages it has over mitts. I use them whenever I need to touch something hot (that isn't wet). I am happy with this purchase even though it is kind of pricey. Hopefully they last long!

I love using these gloves when I cook - BBQ, indoor cooktop, oven, etc. They work as intended. I don't feel the heat. I recommend these gloves.

I cook on a Kamado grill three to four nights a week. So I was hoping to use them for that. Nope.These are great for basic hot pots and pans but not anything coming out of my grill or even my oven. Perhaps the short distance from the oven to the counter is ok, but you better let it go quick or that heat is coming in! I wanted them to work, they fit well but are nothing more than what looks like some cotton with lining and rubber non slip on the outside. I'm sure there is more to them but they didn't work for me. I sent them back and the company was very gracious to refund my $

Grill Armorare oven gloves are expensive, but you get what you pay for. I tried and returned 3 other oven gloves and they were total garbage. These gloves fit like a glove, and cut the heat completely. Once you have them on, push each finger in, one at a time, for the perfect fit. Grill Armorare oven gloves are simply the best in the world, and they look cool too! There’s nothing else even close.

I got tired of using the regular "mitt" type of gloves because I have occasionally dropped stuff due to the lack of a good grip, and as the insides have worn out I have slightly burned myself a few times. So, I decided to try these gloves. Now, I not only have the immense protection from the heat, but also the flexibility of grabbing things more effectively. Well worth the price and I'm thinking of getting several pairs for Xmas gifts to others this year!
