The project box is very sturdy and well made. I didn't need the waterproof seal but it would be needed for outdoor applications that must remain watertight. Overall, it suited my needs very well.

Nice size box for the price. Seems to be good quality. Am happy with it.

Solid product, surface scratches easily though if you’re concerned about the cosmetic aspect.

This is really a good product. I like the fact that there is a detailed measurment in the advertisement. The fasteners featuring metal threaded inserts in the box and a gasket included shows the high quality. Now the gasket is a little difficult to deal with is one concern.

I like these boxes from this supplier they’re a good thickness and a great finish. The mounting threads at the bottom of the box is very handing. Very easy to customize and a great price especially for what you get!

I used this project box to build a balun / transformer for an antenna for ham radio. It was the right size and depth for the project. It has a seal around the top and the 3 hole I had to drill I was able to seal with some sealant. It was priced right and durable. I would buy this again.

This is a nicely finished, sturdy box, in which the cover fits well and the screws go in easily. There's not a lot more you can ask from a project box. The plastic is decently heavy. I used this to mount a 4" diameter arcade game style push-button for a candy dispensing machine I built for Halloween. It stands up to kids pounding on it.

Die Abzweigdose ist von guter Qualität und wird mit Edelstahlschrauben zum Verschrauben der beiden Gehäuseh älften geliefert. Allerdings hat das mitgelieferte Dichtband, das rund um das Gehäuse in eine Nut eingelegt werden soll, einen viel zu großen Durchmesser. Es ist unmöglich, das Dichtband - ein runder Streifen Schaumgummi - in die vorgesehene Nut hineinzudrücken. Ich habe versucht, das Dichtband in die Länge zu ziehen, um den Durchmesser zu reduzieren, wodurch das Dichtband jedoch gerissen ist. In meinem Anwendungsfall ist es unerheblich, ob das Dichtband installiert ist, da das Gehäuse nicht wasserdicht sein muss. Wer jedoch eine wasserdichtes Gehäuse benötigt, muss selbst für geeignete Maßnahmen sorgen. Deshalb bekommt das Produkt von mir nur 4 Sterne.

An well finished product that fits together well. Comes with what look likes stainless steel screws to secure the lid. My only gripe is that the length of gasket material could be a little longer.
