I purchased these mask frames because I was having difficulty wearing my face mask for more than a couple minutes at a time; I couldn’t handle the fabric of my mask touching my lips (it dried them out) or inhaling with the fabric against my mouth. I realized I needed something to hold the mask away from my mouth.I purchased this set of five silicone mask frames and they solved both of these problems. I can definitely wear my mask longer because I don’t feel claustrophobic now.While it is not necessary to attach the frame to a mask, I thought it would be easier to manage both if they were attached. I used a needle and thread. I had read that some people just stitch an X in the center of the frame, but I found it better to stitch at the top center and the bottom center so I don’t have to align the mask and frame every time I use it.My only con is that having the bottom of the frame touch my chin annoys me after a while because of the moisture from exhaling. My solution is to just tuck the bottom of my mask up under the frame. My masks are a very soft cotton, similar to t-shirt material, so tucking it under the bottom of the frame is easy and comfortable.

Let's face it, cloth face masks are not pleasant to wear. These frames make them much more comfortable. I did trim the for.at the bottom and top to fit my face shape and allow my cloth mask to fit properly. I also used a hole punch to add some much needed ventilation holes. I was able to apply snaps to the form to secure it to my cloth mask, although fashion tape works as well. I am even able to sing with a mask on with the help of this form. Overall, this was a great purchase.

I was gifted an amazing mask in the covid crisis. It is so soft and silky...but every time I would breathe in I would get a mouth or nose full of material. My sister told me about this product so I got them. I LOVE them. I have tried them in 3 kinds of masks and they don't seem to work as well with stiffer materials or surgical style masks...but I still like it for the one I purchased it for. My sister tried it and didn't like it as much, she felt it didn't stick out far enough and her nose felt squished. I was worried about them being plastic and making me sweat, but they don't. They are clear but not see through but if it is on the inside of a mask color doesn't really matter. They are sturdy but flexible.

Or getting horrible mask acne because I'm constantly having to remove and readjust my mask because it's falling off my nose from talking, or because I'm hyperventilating because it's not giving me enough room under there.It's very soft and pliable silicone. I have a oblong face shape, petite, and it fits perfectly for me. I'm super excited to see how well it works under pressure when I work next.It effectively supports two different materials of mask types away (comfortably!!) from my nose and lips. So here's hoping!!

I got them for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. It makes wearing a mask to school bearable for him. They are great and keep the fabric or paper of the masks off of his nose and mouth. He says he can breathe fine and his glasses don’t fog up as much.I have washed them in the washing machine (by accident) and in the dishwasher (on purpose) and they came out of both in great shape. I have also just put them in the uv disinfecting machine for a cycle to clean. I highly recommend these if you find it hard to breathe in a mask.

I use a silicone mask insert with all of my face masks, especially with the one I wear while practicing and/or teaching yoga. It holds more warmth in than I would like, but I don't think there's much that can be done about that. Weight-wise, it is light enough that it doesn't fall down into my eyes during down dog. It leaves a light mark on my face but fades fairly quickly. I'm wearing a face mask for about 90 minutes at a time, so I don't know how uncomfortable it would be it were to be used for 8 hours a day. I recommend this insert to all of my students and friends. My teacher keeps a supply on hand in her studio and gives them to her students. Some people are more comfortable letting their masks suck into their face than with the feeling of the insert on their face, but I prefer the feeling of being able to breath semi-freely.

Keeps sliding down where I have to push it up which I dont like because you end up touching the mask all the time and you're not supposed to. Otherwise, it's nice and soft. Fits only small faces,wont work on people with bigger faces.

Makes wearing my mask a lot more tolerable and easier to breathe, I use with KN95 at work and cloth and surgical outside of work. Made ky face develop a bit of condensatiom but that isn't a big issue for me. Shared and suggested to just about everyone I know. Durable and easy to clean, I handwash daily with soap and water and spray with alcohol to sanitize and let air dry overnight.
