Reliable cordless phone system with excellent range and useful features
This AT&T cordless phone system has worked very well for home use. Setup was straightforward, and both handsets paired easily with the base. The sound quality on calls is clear, and the Audio Assist feature is especially helpful for making voices easier to understand without distortion. Range has been excellent. Calls stay clear throughout the house and even outside, which isn’t always the case with cordless phones. The caller ID announcer is a nice convenience, allowing you to hear who’s calling without having to check the handset screen. The built-in answering machine works reliably and is easy to manage. Call blocking is another standout feature and has been effective at reducing unwanted calls. The intercom function between handsets is also useful and works as expected. The handsets are comfortable to hold, the buttons are easy to read, and battery life has been solid with normal use. Overall, this is a dependable home phone system with strong range, good call quality, and features that are actually useful day to day. If you still rely on a home phone line, this is a well-designed and reliable option that performs exactly as advertised.

Good cordless handset phones!
The unit is attractive & easy to transfer your phone numbers from your cell phone to the new phones. You can add new numbers or modify existing numbers and names very easily. The announcing of the incoming calls is a great feature too! The speaker phone feature is very clear too.

Excellent call blocking feature!
I bought this phone because of the built in call blocking. I must say it works excellent! No more annoying calls from those who sell medicare supplements. Screens all calls but allows call backs from those I trust. The voices are clear and loud. The screen lights up when receiving a call. A red light on the charger stand indicates its charging and seated properly. A speaker phone button allows you hands free conversation. All the things important to seniors.

Cordless phones have difficult set up than corded phones
The phone is lovely but beware of set up problems with a cordless phone. The set up with provider is difficult. Apparently, it has something to do with difference of # rings on phone and provider rings. This seems to be a common problem with cordless phones.

I LUV this phone!!! If your issue is blocking numerous annoying spam callers…
I give it 5 stars!! (I don’t know what the “Lock Feature” is, but just gave that feature 5 stars too). I had a Panasonic cordless that was several years old and still worked perfectly, but it only allowed me to block 30 numbers at a time, which, with the increase in spam callers, caused me to have to constantly have to go into the block list and remove older numbers to make room for the more recent ones. WELL… this one lets you block 1000 numbers!!! (Hopefully that will be enough for a while). Also, my Panasonic cordless would announce “you’ve got a call from…” and then state about the first 5 numbers, so I was still hearing it ring, tho I know from the area code not to pick it up. With this AT&T cordless, if the spam callers hang up after my greeting starts playing, I never even hear it ring once nor announced. And if the number is on my block list, it won’t ring thru either. I check the phone’s caller list daily and if I see new un-blocked spam calls listed I can easily put them on the block list. It is also much easier to block calls actively coming in or even afterwards than it was on my older Panasonic. I only have to push a cpl of buttons to put a number on the block list with the AT&T phone, while with my Panasonic, I had to go to the Menu, scroll down to find block list, erase a number to make room for new number, go back to call list to see new spam number, edit it down to 10 digits (minus the “1”), then save it. It was a LOT of steps. So this AT&T phone makes it much simpler in way fewer steps to block numbers. I no longer hear spam caller rings / announcements start in the early morning hours because most of them hang up w/o leaving a message. If they do leave a message - which I have not experienced yet since installing new phone about 4 days ago - I would be able to put them on the block list the same as if they hadn’t. I have observed that spammers roll thru various exchanges to try to get to you by changing 1 digit in the number they are calling from at a time. I am very diligent in checking every day for those numbers and block them immediately. This is why the ability to block 1000 numbers is the MOST important new feature of this phone to me. One thing that is different, which is not as good as the Panasonic, is setting Quiet Hours… those hours between midnight and whatever time in the morning you do not want the phone to ring at all from anyone. On the Panasonic, there is a setting to enter the specific hours once that you want to be Quiet and it observes those hours day in and day out; however, with the new AT&T phone, you have to set them each night. It’s an easy setting, but still so easy to forget to do that before bed every night. So that is the one deficiency of this phone, and I am surprised AT&T didn’t catch that in their development of it. But so far, I have remembered to set it nightly. Even if I forget, I still LUV this phone because it blocks spam callers so perfectly, and that is the main reason I bought it!! So, if you have a problem with lots of spam callers and want to stop them in their tracks, this is the phone for you!!
