I Bought This for My Skin, But Now I Smell Like a Snack and Have Main Character Energy
Let me tell you right now: this cocoa butter didn’t just moisturize my skin — it *emotionally supported it.* I opened the jar and was immediately hit with the rich, chocolatey scent of self-care and vague dessert cravings. I smelled like a human brownie, and I wasn’t mad about it.The texture? Think “tough love.” It’s solid at first, like it’s saying, *“Prove you deserve this moisture.”* But once it melts in your hands, it turns into liquid gold and gives your skin a hug so deep it might heal childhood trauma. After one use, my elbows went from “sanding wood by friction” to “silky dolphin belly.” My knees? Glossier than my 2006 MySpace profile pic. Even my ashy ankles gave me a slow clap.I was just trying to stay hydrated — now I’m radiating Beyoncé-on-vacation energy.**Bonus uses I’ve discovered:*** Tames frizzy hair (or at least intimidates it into submission)* Makes me smell like I live in a tropical bakery* Confuses people into thinking I bake when I definitely do not* One time I caught someone sniffing me like I was a cookie and I didn’t hate it**Cautions:**❌ Do not eat it (I KNOW it smells edible — stay strong)❌ Will ruin your relationship with all other lotions❌ May attract raccoons and/or affection from strangersFinal verdict: If you want your skin to feel like it just got out of a luxury retreat in the Bahamas and also kind of like you're a chocolate truffle walking among mortals — buy this. Just don’t blame me when people start asking if you’re available in snack-sized

Rich, Nourishing, and Deeply moisturizing
A must-have for soft, healthy skin. It’s rich and creamy, melting beautifully into the skin without feeling greasy. I love how it deeply moisturizes and helps fade scars, stretch marks, and dry patches over time. The natural, light cocoa scent is comforting and not overpowering. It’s gentle enough for daily use on both my skin and my toddler’s, especially after baths. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts.

Smooth
Have been using for about two weeks now. The smell is very light and pleasant, it's very smooth and lightweight. It leaves my skin soft and glowing.

Sky organics cocoa butter
Ive purchased this product for years. Now, the quality has decreased. I purchased the cocoa butter and it was extremely hard and waxy. I will not be buying again.

Not truly organic, give ANY mango butter a try
Mango butter is incredible. I was born early & have heel scars from many blood draws. Lotions like St. Ives or Aveeno were sucked up within half an hour and didn’t provide relief from dry, firm, really dry skin (lack of oil). I knew I needed something heavier duty that was more occlusive and emollient. Somehow, I stumbled upon shea butter, amazing! But the product I was using had a very strong scent (not 100% shea, great product but just too strong).I tried mango butter to make my own cannabis pain relief topical for chronic back pain, scraps, bruises. It was great, my skin was so so smooth for a day or so. After trying it multiple times on my heels, I’ll be set for life knowing what works for my skin. I can apply it before work (odorless!!), after getting home- 5 plus times a day if I haven’t been diligent and my feet feel like a models! Great for people who live in 4 seasons, have dry elbows or cuticles (dry: lack of oil, dehydrated: lack of water. My cue for dry? Skin feeling like a shriveled grape. Think post hand washing dishes feeling).CeraVe moisturizer in the tub is great when my skin is dehydrated, great mix of emollients (softens), humectants (moisturizes by adding water from the air, beware swimming in a pool in summer. SO slippery!) & occlusives (just a straight up barrier, think petroleum jelly. Simply seals skin from the air.). CeraVe healing ointment is tops as a sleeping pack/I’m at home now, half your sleeping pack or occasional heel/elbow/super dry skin relief. Mixed (my fave, it boosts effectiveness of its buddy & doesn’t just keep moisture in. I highly value effective ingredients that help treat the root well) or on it’s own.A little goes a long way. It’s easy to remove using the back of my nails to scrap it out, then I roll it into a ball and between my palms to soften to a flexible butter or oil like. I’ve been consistently using this for 6 months straight and I’m probably 1/3 to 1/2 through (includes 4 oz from my salve). This brand is good but the label is misleading. Organic as in from the earth, not organically grown. I’ll be looking elsewhere for a truly organic product. Thanks for coming to my body care TED talk. We only get one. It is worth taking good care of your largest organ. You’re worth taking good care of yourself.

AMAZING! I'm so moisturized ^w^
This tub is gonna last me and my husband a good while and we use lots of moisturizer, especially rn while it's winter. It's hard to scoop out while it's cold, so take a hairdryer to it to help melt it so you can either use your finger nail to scrape some up or just pour the melted oil into your hand. It's been like 6 hours since we showered and applied it and still feels great. Absorbs well and surprisingly not that greasy! Scent is natural and earthy; almost kind of like a hint of coffee. I personally like it. I do not like artificial fragrances & all the other junk in my products and the main reason why I stopped using palmer's products. If it ends up being too earthy for your liking, just add some drops of whichever essential oil(s) you like. Will definitely buy again once we're out, but who even knows when that'll be bc we've barely even made a dent in it.

Mild scent and softer texture than expected for "raw" cocoa butter
I purchased this expecting that rich, chocolatey scent and firmness that raw cocoa butter is known for. The label says "raw & unrefined," but what I received had a very mild nutty scent—more like shea—and a much softer texture. I was concerned it might be cut with another butter, but after doing a melt point and freezer test, it still behaved like cocoa butter (snapped when cooled, firmed up well). So, I don’t think it was fake, but it may have been lightly processed or deodorized despite the label. It’s not what I needed for my skincare formulations but may still be useful in other DIY projects. Just a heads-up for those who depend on the raw scent and texture: this may not deliver the expected experience.
