Get one without hesitation. I really like soft boiled eggs, this tool makes the perfect cut to remove the perfect amount of shell each time. So easy to use.

It actually works!
I was skeptical that this would work as advertised, but it does just that. I love soft boiled eggs, and this thing hits the egg with just the right pressure. Easy to peel, no little shell flakes thanks to the cone around the egg tip. This thing is one of those inventions that makes you wonder why you never thought of it yourself. Worth the price if you like soft-boiled eggs.

It Works With A Bit of Practice Good Product
I took a star away because the photos in the description, showing a nice, perfectly circular cut at the top of the egg are inaccurate. The cut this tool makes does not allow a clean break as they show. You have to GENTLY wiggle and play with the cupped part at the egg until the top breaks free. This will break some of the shell on the remaining egg shell. Yes, it does work to get into a soft boiled egg, and it isn’t as slam dunk easy or clean as shown. I note some reviews complaining the lower part of this device being too big to fit inside. I guess those reviewers don’t know, an egg has a narrow pointy end, and the other that is much larger in diameter and that end won’t work because the of an apparent design flaw on the part of the Universe. Yes this thing works and you might need to sacrifice a couple eggs to get it right. I lost one, so I got lucky. I recommend this product.

It works well on both raw and boiled eggs. It works on duck and turkey eggs too (but turkey eggs may need the membrane cut by hand). It says specifically it's NOT for use on raw eggs, but i haven't had any issues. Very easy to clean.

This is a nice looking little egg topper- easy to have out on your counter-mine stays on my planter window in the kitchen. Just don’t pull too hard because it’s pretty heavy and you can smash your egg. Otherwise it greatly improves the soft boiled egg and toast strips breakfast.
