Great State Pet Kitty Cave Cat Bed, Khaki

We are a multiple cat home, so we purchased 2 of the Cat Caves. The cats love them! We have 2 sisters that were once stray/feral, so for now they have their own room to hang out in. They especially love this cat cave, as it gives them a sense of security when they are stressed when I am cleaning in their room. I highly recommend these for any cat though. Cats love to nap in them or just hang out! We bought the Navy Blue color because it was reasonably priced. The other colors were not! I did place a carrier/crate pad in for added comfort. The kind that has the bolstered sides. This helps the cave keep its shape and adds extra thickness for the cats to lay on that they appreciate. Especially if it is to be placed on a solid surface floor. The single layer of material used for the back side & bottom was very thin and felt the cats needed more padding. Over all a great product and it is made in America!!! Buy one; you're cats will love it!

This hasn't worked out as well as I hoped it would. My cat loved it at first and it looks great, but it doesn't stay up all that well. It seems that it's always on its side. I have machine-washed it and dried it and it came out great. Perhaps for a smaller cat it would be great (mine is a pretty large cat) but for us I wish it had a weighted or more solid bottom to keep it upright.

My kitten would go in then come right out. She didn't like to be in for some reason. I thought it might be because there is only one opening so I cut out the other ed and now she goes through. There is no padding so I think that is why she doesn't nap there.

I bought this for an elderly cat to offer warmth and coziness in the winter. The bottom is a thin (nearly see-through) layer of fleece and offers no padding against a cold tile floor. This is not readily apparent in the images. The walls, unaccountably, are plushly padded. I would not buy again, even though the price was attractive.

Great little hideaway for our shy new kitties. They really seemed to appreciate having a cave to retreat to. Would be 5 stars but like some other reviews have said there isn't any padding on the bottom and it tips some. Ours lives on its side for now.

my cat didn't like it, but cats are very funny like that. I see nothing wrong with the product. i feel a young cat would like it.

My husband laughed when I pulled this out and said our 20 pound hunter cat would never use it. Since the day after christmas, the cat has not left it except to go outside or eat. If he is inside, he's in the cat house. Would like it a little bigger, but it's effective as is. Cat gives it 2 paws up!

Cat liked it after a couple of days but I thought it was bigger inside for the cat to turn around in but he has made it workout.
