I knew they were mesh but I didn't realize how hard material they were. When they arrived, they were in a vacuum sealed bag, so their circular spiral shapes are irregular. That being said, I received all 36 curlformers with 2 hooks and 4 extensions(2 per hook due to length). The only difference between the colors is that the purple, Yellow, Pink swirl outwards from the left side of the face and the Orange, Green and Blue swirl outward from the right side of the face. Per youtube videos, I decided to soak the pink n blue ones in hot water instead of dampening my hair directly. I figured it may help them spring back into normal spiral shape. Didnt work. But I applied them wet on dry hair for the bottom layers, then I applied them wet with dampened hair on the top layers. I divided my hair in 3 layers and managed to use 5 on the bottom, 4 in the middle, and 3 on the top layer... so basically used all 6 pink and 6 blue. Will keep them in overnight approx 8hrs.Either way, the spiral shape isn't as big as I would like but the deal breaker would be them not being proper shaped due to the vacuum seal...Update -- the final curls weren't that defined, but I also left them in only about 2 hours. My hairs were dry. The ones that did curl, the shapes were irregular just like the bent irregular shape of the actual curlformer.Maybe it's better if I buy in store rather than online to avoid the vacuum seal situation...--tried again. This time kept longer for about 7 hours. I didn't think they would be so hard to sleep in but they were! I usely use rods, they are easier to sleep in. A few of the curls didn't form properly. Idk if it is because of the bent shapes from packaging or maybe it flattened out in my sleep. I dont think it was due to my hair not being wet as I keep the curlers soaking in water as I apply them rather than directly dampening my hair.

I was disappointed as soon as I opened the package and noticed that the formers were dis formed from being squished inside a bag and if you have a lot of hair this will take a hour or longer plus you have to make your sections very small to fit your hair inside the former not worth it if you ask me also with all the pulling and friction your causing with your hair going in and out of the formers(till you get the hang of it) your more than likely causing damage to your hair and I have worked hard to get my hair long and healthy again so I will not be using these

They do the job well

I have very thin, very fine straight hair, I put these in and wore them overnight, they weren't the MOST comfortable to sleep in, but I made it work. It took myself and my partner 20 min to put in all the curlers, he took the back of my hair, I took the front. I used smaller sections per curler in the front, larger sections in the back. Once in, they were totally comfortable and a little floppy. We had fun doing a curler photoshoot with them. In bed, they made a crunching sound any time I shifted during the night, which woke me up, but I could sleep in them. BUT, the next morning, I took them out (painless which was cool cause they'd been in overnight) and my hair was totally curly and AWESOME! I didn't use styling mousse before putting them in, so it was just in my natural hair that they stayed, and THEY STAYED FOR LIKE 2 WHOLE DAYS! It was really cool!! Now I know I can curl my hair and that these things work. Only giving 4 stars because they weren't the easiest to get in without help, and sleep in. But HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! :D

First off, my hair is shoulder length and very thick. I ordered the 12” pink and orange package containing 36 rollers. The length was perfect and the package arrived intact. I had watched A LOT of online tutorials before trying this. It was fairly easy to put these in my hair and I only snagged my hair once. I think the piece of hair was just too much so it was probably my fault. I applied these to my hair when it was almost dry and used “It’s a 10” spray. After 3 hrs I removed them and had great spiral curls! I was so so happy I didn’t spend $80 on the name brand set. This was a huge money saver for me. The only down side is that there is no way I could sleep in these. They are way too bulky but still a great option if you have time to do it during the day.

Some of the spirals were smashed giving her more “square” curls than spirals. We just put those on the bottom. It takes a minute to learn how to use them and how to section the hair, but they’re a really great alternative to heat!

i have long hair so i needed to use two per strand and it just wasn’t worth the outcome also takes forever to put in maybe will update if i ever cut my hair

Ich habe weder die tasche noch die dazugehörigen stäbe zum durchziehen mit dazu bekommen. Obwohl ist in der Beschreibung drinnen steht. Also katastrophal.

Les bigoudis font bien leur affaire mais les tiges n ont pas les encoches assez marquées du coup qd on tire pour faire descendre les cheveux dans le bigoudis, une partie de la tige reste dedans et il faut recommencer. C est carrément pénible, je vais devoir mettre de la super glue pour que la tige ne se défasse plus. Dommage
