Penguins!!!!!
Ok so I know I am a little late on this but in my defense I could not afford the book at the time it came out due to being a college student, I know that’s a lame excuse but I am truly that college student that live off of ramen (there are many that could agree with me on that haha). But now that I have read the book I can finally rant on how good it is and how much I despise Lola for being so good at what she does (in all honesty though I love the woman, she is a freaking genius!!!!!)Before I even started reading the book I knew it was going to be an emotional roller coaster just by watching the FB page, which by the way I want to thank the page for no spoilers you guys did a great job at preventing that, and the fact that I have read all of Lola's work and well she has this nasty habit of putting her readers through the ringer (but in a good way). Now let's get to the book.I love how Lola not only gives us more than one perspective of the story, but some of the perspectives are from characters that are not even main characters, characters that you don’t really see often but they play a huge role in unveiling something important to the plot to the readers. Plus it is nice to hear more than one voice, if done right and boy does Lola know how to do it right. The characters of course you have the ones that you love and the ones that you hate, but Lola being Lola she will have you reversing some of those feelings for some characters. My feelings for Silver have not wavered if anything they grow stronger because you have to give him credit for what he goes through and how he handles it. Even though he doesn’t see himself as a strong leader he is, glad he is second in command. Bex I go back and forth with and I think I will continue to do that just because I really don't know what to do with him. Key on the other hand I use to find her very annoying but now I find her as a woman that has finally come over here fear (even though it was a fear she did not know she had) and one that has finally moved on, in away. Swoop (Bird), East, and Randy I still love that bunch, they usually are the ones to bring comic relief in the story but now there is a new person add to the group, Ruin. As much as it pains to admit this I have to give props to this character, I think she will become the Rage of this group but in her own ways, unless Lola decides to change that.I cannot wait to see what happens next, but at the same time I am glad I am going to have a bit of time to "recharge" from that one. Until next time Happy Reading Tics.

ANOTHER Cliffhanger... (contains spoilers)
I started this series because I read the entire Guardians series in about 4 days, and didn't want to let them go. I thought the perfect way to keep those characters fresh in my mind was to read about their children. While this series isn't bad, it's soooooo similar to the Guardians series that it's kind of predictable (and somewhat boring at times.) There are things and explanations repeated CONSTANTLY. So much that I find myself skimming quite frequently. For every Guardians character, there is a Noru character to equal them exactly. I'm kind of disappointed that the "parents" are still stuck in the the light, and that there is almost no mention of them whatsoever. I'm also disappointed that while Rage is not stuck with them, he does not have a very big part in this series. I'm not sure why each of these books wastes as much times as they do going over and re-explaining the plot from the previous book in the series. All it does is waste time and space, creating the opportunity to make the series longer and more (unnecessarily) expensive. The books are so short that they are hardly worth half of what I was charged for them. The first three could have been made into one book and it seems like Ms. St. Vil is trying to push half stories on her readers and make way more money than is deserved. Will I buy the next books in the series? Yes, but only because once I start a series, I can't stop until it's finished. The quality of the writing isn't as good in the Noru books either. Some of the inconsistencies are frustrating and downright annoying. Easton is a Quo, as he's been since book one, yet in this book, his wings and his flying are mentioned. Um hello, he's Quo, right? We are specifically told in book one that he has to use a port because he has no wings and can't fly. Aaden is literally holding Pry in hid arms at one point in this story, and then the paragraph goes on to say that he "reaches for her hand". Hmmm, OK? And something that has bugged me since the third or fourth Guardian book... Is it a RePLAY or a RePLY? Because it started as a replay, which would make sense according to the object description, then it switches to a reply, only to finally make it back to REPLAY in the second half of this book. Would I recommend this book specifically to anyone? No. If you've read the Guardians series and are invested in those characters, then sure, start with Book one, and read them. The story isn't that bad, and you're already prepared to spend too much money on half books with no conclusion. The author should stop trying to push books to the readers so fast and work on quantity as well as quality. Instead of publishing a half book in a few months, why not take a year, and combine what you think should be books 4, 5 and 6 into book 4. Oh, and while you're at it, hire an editor, or a proofreader. I would even volunteer to do it for free, if it would mean the stories wouldn't suffer because of silly mistakes.

5 out of 5!
This book is thrilling, sweet, and terrifying. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Lola StVil is one of my favorite authors of all time. (which says a lot since I read a lot of different books by a lot of different authors). I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves Romance/Fantasy Fiction. My eyes flew over the pages and I couldn't bring myself to pull them away for a second. I ended up finishing the book within hours. This book contains things (which I won't say specifically because I don't to ruin the plot) that are exciting, passionate, scary. All the elements that she includes greatly contrast each other. The characters draw you in to the book and make it feel like you are actually with them. Not many authors can make a person feel that way. Also, Lola StVil's imagination is completely unmatched. Her ideas are all amazing and interesting; I never know what is going to happen next. The last thing that I want to say is that Lola is amazing at creating cliffhangers. I love these unexpected turns that leave me wanting the next book immediately.I hope this review helped! It is a great read and Lola StVil is a wonderful author. I hope you will read this great book!!

Such an amazing author!
Lola's cliff hangers are the best! But just leaves me begging for more! At least with the guardian series I didn't discover them until they were all out! Great storyline and storytelling, the details and background gradually comes through and you have those 'oh yeah!' Moments! Impatiently awaiting the next instalment!
