Monopol "Ah-so" Bottle Opener and Corker

Very good quality cork puller, feels strong enough in hand and so far performs very well especially with the older wines where cork sometimes tends to crumble. The German quality shows in the looks of it as well, so it can make a decent present for a wine connoisseur.

Works great, will wear out eventually but only after pulling a few thousand corks. Very sharp appearance, always a fun conversation piece/parlor trick to show people

This wine opener works very well on natural corks and is excellent for older bottles of wine were the integrity of the cork is lacking. You wiggle the device in along the sides off the cork and twist it out while pulling. It is durable and lasts a long long time.

Didn't work on our old wines, but there over 25 years old.

Sturdy, easy to use, but sometimes small pieces of cork might get shaved off and drop into the wine

We had one a long time ago. It is the best cork puller I know.
