VERY DURABLE !!!
This jolly ball has been a staple in my home dog boarding/ daycare business. I have one in each of my 3 play yards. They have held up for many years lying outside year round without the colors fading or material becoming brittle or cracking. They have stayed soft, maintained their shape & color, and been a favorite toy for both small & large dogs. I have a small 12 lb dog that likes to fetch this ball & play tug (which is hilarious because it is about as big as the dog). However it is used mostly by my medium / large dogs that absolutely LOVE it! It is definitely a favorite in the herding breed line, like border collies. While it is extremely durable and super tough and holds up to many teeth puncture marks, it is not indestructible. I have had to replace one of these over the last 3 years that 2 large dogs were able to tear in half after playing tug of war with it for too long. I would recommend not leaving it unattended as a play toy with large dogs unless you are there to monitor. This would make an excellent gift for almost any medium - extra large dog who likes to fetch or retrieve! These have been worth every penny spent for me!

Not for aggressive chewers!
My dog is an aggressive chewer and this ball lasted 5 minutes. It doesn’t deflate after being punctured, but is able to still be used if your dog likes to just chase it. My dog is a pit/lab mix and we now only use it for retrieval.

Don’t buy for a chewer!
Bought this for my German Shepherd thinking he would have it for a while. Wrong - he had it chewed apart in days.

Good toys, but the horse ones are better for large breed dogs
We have a four year old German Shepherd who absolutely loves his Jolly Ball time, but he destroys the dog Jolly Balls fast. They get lacerations and punctures all over them in just a few days which causes them to lose their shape. The horse ones are more durable and last weeks despite GSD.Be warned, if your dog thrashes these a lot their neck mucles will become very strong. With enough solo time playing with their Jolly Ball they will learn how to entertain themselves with it. Should you dog ever get a hold of a small animal (cat, rabbit, opposum, etc) it may not survive the encounter and may be tossed in the air and caught... or not. Last opposum to enter into our yard was tossed into the air and caught or our dog would let it hit the ground then would scoop it up only to thrash it around a bit before tossing it again. Basically, the same thing he will do with the Jolly Ball.

Dog loves it!
My dog absolutely loves to play fetch with these balls but chews the handles off pretty quickly, which then makes it hard for her to pick it up.

Super Fun Large Dog Ball - A Hit with Big Pups!
This large dog ball has been a huge hit with our pup! It's the perfect size for bigger dogs to chase, push around, and play with. The durable material holds up well to rough play, and it's lightweight enough for our dog to carry and roll around the yard. It's been a great way to keep our dog active and entertained - she goes absolutely wild for it! We've even used it for games of chase and fetch, and it's held up great. If you have a big pup who loves to play, this ball is totally worth it. Fun, durable, and great way to burn off energy!

Not worth it anymore
This was my dogs favorite toy. He has had the red ball in the photo since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 13 months. He finally got a tear in the handle so I wanted to replace it so the ball can hang in the tree again but aside from the handle, the rest of the ball is in great shape still and still gets daily use.I had purchased another jolly ball in green to mix it up, It only lasted him about 3 days because of how thin and flimsy it was. My dog shredded that into pieces. I still find remnants left over from that battle. I wrote that off as my mistake since maybe with it being intended for a horse and apple scented then it could be built different. No big deal, MY FAULT.So I go back to my original purchase and place another order for the original red jolly ball. What I get is this flimsy ball that is the same as the green ball I mentioned, maybe worse. The first ball had bite resistance, it took a considerable amount of force to compress the ball even by stepping on it. These new balls that are being sent out you can compress them with only 1 finger. Its a joke honestly for the intended purpose. I would love to know where to buy a real jolly ball from again. As it stands, the replacement ball is being returned and I would deem these a waste of money until they figure out what is going on. Keep the original product but raise the price if you need to but don't produce a product that serves no actual purpose and is rubber going right to a landfill. So... yeah I don't know. I'm going to have to get him a real tire or something now since these jolly balls won't make the cut.

Great for tugging not for chewing
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This a great toy for your dog unless he likes to chew. I have a puppy cattle dog mix (30lbs) and he gnawed part of the handle of this toy in a matter of minutes. The handle is hollow so it’s easy for him. It’s a great toy otherwise and I’ll buy another once he gets passed this faze.
