Love the Camera but not thrilled with the company.
I have owned a lot of 4K cameras and by far this one is the best. The image quality is so good that I can read the value of money being handed to a cashier from 20ft away. I had an incident that happened outside the business and the camera caught it from 45ft away through a window and in such detail that the Police Forensic guy said to me that it was some of the best image quality he had seen given the position of the Camera and catching an event outside the building.Don't know why people are moaning about the PC software so much. I have it on Windows7 and Windows10 but had to do it through IP forwarding in the router to make it work. I agree that Lorex support sucks but the Iphone and Ipad App works perfectly without having to go through any hurdles. The NVRs work like a treat, if mine died today I would buy another one tomorrow. My only complaint is the customer support and the fact that I felt like I was robbed when Lorex removed the Rapid Replay feature from the DVR's.

Good video quality, but ancient, non-upgradable software and ignorant support. DO NOT BUY
I have this camera installed with an Amcrest NVR. The quality and features are good, however, the software is ancient (from 2017) and the cameras can only be updated if you use a Lorex NVR! Their web interface only works in Internet Explorer which isn't supported by Microsoft anymore and doesn't even exist in Windows 11! I called their support to ask for an update and they told me it only works in Internet Explorer and they don't provide update files since it should be automatically updated with the Lorex NVR.One can only imagine how many security flaws exist in the camera firmware since it is the same firmware base that almost every other camera uses (and is Chinese software -- notorious for IOT vulnerabilities!). It is not OK that they don't allow upgrades. The web UI has an upgrade function, so why won't they provide files? It is impossible to view the video unless you are using the direct stream URLs. For example, I have 2 other cameras which are Reolink, and Reolink provides firmware upgrades and their newest firmware allows HTML5 viewing of the videos which work in any browser. It is unacceptable how bad Lorex has become after they were bought by a Chinese company. You can read about it, search for "FLIR sells Lorex, SMB security business to Dahua"
