Garlic Paste

I have been using this for YEARS and absolutely LOVE IT! Its like toothpaste,1 inch squeezed out is about 1 small clove of minced garlic. For comparison, I dislike the flavor of chopped garlic in a jar, no matter the brand it has a weird taste. Amore garlic paste has a touch of olive oil to increase the spreadability of the paste as well as a touch of salt- so keep that in mind when cooking. My favorite pasta is Colavita Fettucine and I sautee about 1/4cup Amore Garlic paste with 1/4cup of olive oil. I add in 2 pats of butter then mix in a lb of cooked fettucine. I could eat this everyday! During the 2020 shortages I was able to buy this online and never be without my favorite garlic. I'll add a squeeze to quick tomato sauces, homemade pesto, soups, salad dressing anywhere you'd use crushed or minced garlic. The tub stays fresh for MONTHS in the fridge even though most of the time I use a tub within a month. The unopened tubes remain in the pantry at room temp. Amore is super convenient and well made.

This product has the convenience of squeezable garlic, with less waste due to less product remaining in the container compared to squeezable garlic that come in a plastic bottle.... But there is added salt in this particular product, making food that already has salt in it taste too salty. So the product is great, as long as the food you use it on doesn't have much salt to begin with. But for food items like canned fish, the salt can become a little overwhelming. If this product were offered without salt, I'd likely give it five stars.

Just what I’ve been looking for.

I’ve bought this product for years Amore garlic paste & it used to be white! Now I just ordered a case & the garlic is now the color of peanut butter with a very STRONG smell ! I called the company & they said that it’s still the same ingredients so they don’t know why it’s brown now ! I just want someone to open a box & see if it’s still edible on their shelves exp. 10/2026 I had to throw out 5 tubes from one case ! I’m only writing this to see if anyone else had this problem! I would hope the manufacturer would take this seriously & check their product to make sure it’s safe to use! Thank you, Mike
