This trio is gorgeous! I know many other reviewers have commented about all the colors looking "just black" could be true if you don't use any eye shadow primer. I use UDPP and then Makeup Forever Aqual Cream #17 which is a plum color. The two left colors look just like they do in the pan if used over these two products. If you've worried about fall-out, just use a tissue under your eye/ it truly is a gorgeous palette. I do not regret buying it and it arrived in less than a week. Great seller and it arrived in tact.

Beautiful pellet, you will have to build up the colour as its not too pigmented, but that helps to keep the makeup in your control.

I've purchased many NARS shadows, and have real doubts this is genuine. It is hard to blend, swatches unevenly with both brush and finger, and most interestingly, causes my eyes to sting - something no other NARS shadows, including other glittery ones, has ever done.I read what someone in 2013 wrote about using a primer, which can make a difference with some shadows, but I DID use a primer a NARS eye primer! - and the shadows still didn't blend and went on pretty unevenly.I pulled out another NARS shadow, purchased at a department store, and swatched them side by side on my arm over NARS eye primer (see photo).The "Arabian Nights" black from Amazon is on the top, the department store NARS is on the bottom.I just don't see any comparison. The Amazon shadow is uneven and the glitter is invisible. The department store shadow is even, soft and easy to blend, and the glitter is obvious even in a still photo. This is even more dramatic in a video that I don't see a way to upload.

Very smooth and nice application. The colors were a tad paler than I expected, but it may be I'm just used to darker tones. I really like the pink color on the right, it has a slight dusky undertone which makes it great for an eyeshadow color in my opinion. The middle color is more neutral and works well as a brow bone highlighting color. The pale/silvery color on the left works as a eye-corner highlighter. It has a glimmeriness to it. Overall, I was well satisfied with this NARS eyeshadow.

You cannot go wrong with this pallet. Use the correct brushes and primer or else there's no place to complain. This is not a "toy" makeup, it's professional grade and you need to use pro brushes when applying. Remember! Do your eyes FIRST / start with: use primer all the way to the brow/ use concealer stick and use a concealer brush to blend it in / use (while a tad damp from those two) a high-lighter around the brow,into the arch (blend into the ocular bone with the make blonder)/ take concealer brush - dab WHITE onto the arch of the brow/ Now apply the Nars pallet :)/ use make-up wipe to remove access that's fallen from applying on the face and inside of nose / put on liquid liner & spray with -eyes closed - hair spray to lock it (use a hand fan or blow dryer) to set it / use two layers of lengthening mascara on the upper CLOSED lash ( not with eyes open) , blow dry. Clean up again with same makeup wipe around where need be.You'll use mascara to "lift" the lashes once the eyes are done. If you like. use (when brushing the first time / extra thickness on the outside corners pulling down - gives the fake look

This color selection is so natural looking, goes on velvety smooth, stays all day, is beautifully luminous...which I adore! So gentle too. Thanks!!!

NARS has the best textural consistency: smooth and silky. Color intensity is just right to be immediately visible but buildable with repeated applications. Great product line. Compact can be a bit hard to open as the lift area is very subtle but obviously easy then to master.

Very unhappy with the color and not the brand. Colors looked aubergine but when they arrived they are a very bright reddish purple. Not for meVery satisfied however with the shipping and handling of the item.

I watched a make up demo and immediately wanted this colour pallet eyeshadow. Although I thought £30 was expensive it was a must. I have to admit I was a little disapointed when I used it, you can't see the different colours very well, as they very dark. In fact I have far cheaper eye shadows that work just as well. You must place tissue under your eye when applying as it does go everywhere
