Performed with flying colors when put to the test
I own a small tropical fruit orchard. The required yearly tree pruning was always the most dreaded chore. I never was able to do a good job with the tools I had (ladders, cordless pruning saws, rope-and-pulley pole saws, etc.). This year with the EZ Kut Kamikaze, the job was 1000 times easier, and I actually felt satisfied with the quality of my work. I finished the pruning in August, then Hurricane Ian hit dead-on in September. After that, more major pruning was required, this time on the larger shade trees in the yard. The EZ Kut did great on those as well. The design features I most appreciate are: a strong, flexible curved blade; super-sharp teeth that cut on both the push and pull; a long yet very light-weight and sturdy pole; and a hook at the end of the blade for easing down tangled cut branches. In short, this is an excellent product.

They had me at: Japanese Blade ;) Terrifying blade, all tree branches should be cowering in fear!
I'm a little old lady who bought 2 "amazon warehouse" pole saws to tackle my neighbor's unruly tall tree branches. The other was much lighter and telescopes into a compact size. I thought this was surely going to be the winner but it came bent(!) and missing the blade! RETURN!This one came just wrapped in plastic, no protective box, no directions, doesn't telescope to a compact size at all- its huge!, much heavier and was way more $$$$.I was super disappointed in both but decided to try out this Kamikaze.1) watch the EZ Kut Kamikaze video (since it came with no directions). It explained all the features and shows how it works.2) the blade cover is bright RED!, sturdy and just awesome to cover/protect the truly terrifying blade!3) though it felt heavy at first, its well balanced, feels solid and was surprisingly easy to use. though it doesn't make sense, the pole saw did not feel heavy in use.4) the Japanese blade does not disappoint! it sawed through 2 kind of tree branches with ease. the curved tip/hook makes it easy to direct and pull branches that get caught up.There is premium Japanese brand pole saw which is way more expensive and way overkill for my use but it got me searching for Japanese blades which brought me to the EZ Kut!This EZ Kut Kamikaze is more than I had originally intended to spend to cut down my neighbor's overgrown tree branches but after using it- its totally worth the extra cost!

Best saw I ever had!!!
I am 67 years old and have 5 acres of Ponderosa pines to mitigate! This is the best saw ever! A definite 10 star product, sturdy, stays sharp, lightweight, can cut thru anything and reach so high! This picture is what I cut myself, plus 2 more piles even bigger. Blade is still sharp! I can’t say enough good things The Kamikazi!!!

Looks and functions like a Silky blade
I have several Silky saws and the blade on this one is similar to where I wonder if it's made by the same manufacturer in Japan. This pole saw is very impressive and I prefer it over my pole chainsaw. It's lighter in weight and cuts just about as fast as the chainsaw on limbs 3-inches or less. I also have almost twice the reach. I'll also mention that I had a shoulder injury about a year ago, and this saw places no stress on it. And that's another reason why I prefer it over the top-heavy weight of my pole chainsaw. It's pricey but worth it in the long run.

It does cut through 4-6 inch branches quite high up
I found the price high, but decided to buy it anyway as I don't have the physical stamina to support a a heavier than 10 pound pole chain saw of that height. It IS very sharp. The blade has a hook on either end to prevent the whole thing from slipping down and injuring me. The covering case for the blade is good, has a safety feature to prevent it from falling off, yet is easy to remove. Assembly was easy. Only 2 screws needed. Actually, the nut for one of them did not screw on, and the blade is stably attached all the same. The Kamikaze blade is long, curved and extremely thin. Twice it got stuck in the cutting groove of the branch mid-job, which was rather harrowing. I did not want want to bend and ruin the blade, nor leave it hanging where it could lead to some sort of hideous accident a/or get rained on and ruined. This blade with the pole - which is good, safe, easy to extend but not so easy to make shorter again - cost approximately $250. I let it dangle for a little bit, and then was able to saw back & forth just enough to loosen it to remove it. It was not a pleasant experience. Despite the drawbacks, I am glad that I made the purchase. I am able to remove branches quite high up. The thicker ones take a fair amount of effort for me. The thin ones - up to an inch or so - it cuts through like butter.

Great Product
I have been shopping for a trimmer for a while. This is an excellent product. Easy to use, well made, very sharp saw, well balanced and seems to be durable. I have been using on Palm Frawns and Oak Limbs and does a great job on both.

Well made and gets the job done!
This pole saw extendable to 20' does a great job. Very little flex due to the oval design and use of quality grade aircraft aluminum certainly make a difference here when trying to get the job done. Highly recommend to the one that appreciates a good tool at a great price. Thanks E-Z Kut!

Best on the market. Hands down.
Commercial quality. It's expensive but it's worth it. The oval shaped shaft provides more structure when extended. Doesn't bend and wobble like the other one I bought and returned.
