A Witch's Grimoire: Create Your Own Book of Shadows

This book is excellent for all witches and warlocks just getting into the craft and slightly confused about how to begin their first Book of Shadows. Is a notebook okay? Does everything need to be made from hand? Count on this author to walk you through all the different ways of making a Book of Shadows of your very own, from the simple to the extravagant.Even seasoned witches will enjoy the rustic look of the book and the fresh, engaging ideas it has to possibly start a new book, as many witches can go through several in their life.I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

While this book isn't for those intressed in Basic Wicca. It is a very good book for those wanting to take it to the next step, and create a Grimoire or Book of shadows. This is not the here's a bunch of spells type of book, it is a way to find your on voice and create your own spells and rituals, which is a far sight above and beyond most books written on the subject of Witchcraft.

If you are just learning, dabbling or in my case revisiting Wicca this book offers so many fantastic ideas on creating your grimoire or BOS. I really enjoyed reading a few new ideas and have since passed this down to my children. I originally borrowed it with Amazon Prime but then decided it was good enough to have a hard copy off and that is saying something since I rarely buy books most are on my Kindle.

The title of this book is quite misleading, it promises to be a book about creating your own book of shadows, but very little in the book actually covers this topic. The book does begin with a bit of information on the topic, but soon just becomes another rehash of the same old Wicca 101 information. While the information is okay, and there are a few nice bits (hence two stars rather than one), it's just not on the actual topic it promises to deliver.If you're looking for a book on actually creating, organizing, and writing a grimoire - and don't need yet another 101 book - this is not the book you want.

Completely amazing!! was not what I expected im still reading it but everything is mind-blowing. its so well written like if you were taking a class So helpful. Judy is very descrpitive and teaches you the ways of a witch I cant wait to keep going! !

As a practicing solitary for thirty-some years, I am very pleased with my purchase of "A Witch's Grimoire:. ." I love the look of the book and the way the author writes. She teaches not only the how to of writing your own BOS, but also the basics of Wicca. I bought this book for my granddaughter, but I'm very much enjoying it myself.

I not been able to actually get past the first couple of pages, but with just the beginning I already like the book. It provides good instructions.

i enjoy this book. Not only does she tell you how to create your own BOS but she also includes correspondents(not a lot mind you but some). Granted she only deals with the Goddess side of things, but to each their own. Either way enjoyed read.

I'm at that stage where it's time to teach my sons more on our way of life (wicca) having grown up with the religion I find it hard to know where to start when it comes to teaching my sons. I'd heard good reviews on this book because it not only touched on the basics but was written in a way that you could come back for reference at any point in the wicca journey.I've purchased books in the past and found them to be pretty condescending, stuck up or un-helpful. I didn't have high hopes for this however, when it arrived I was firstly taken by the design and the details that had gone into it. Each page is made from what seems to be handmade paper with a gorgeous torn edge - exactly how a book should be.The chapters cover everything from getting started, how to follow the path, correspondences and really helpful tips and tricks. Even if you have a grimoire or don't ever plan to have one this is still going to be a fantastic reference book for you.Personally, I cannot find any faults with this, it's an absolute literary delight.

Didn't work for me, you could find better info online, this book really isn't what I thought it would be so gave it to a younger family member.

I found this book informative in some parts but in others lackin information. It has some of the basics in but misses out some pretty important things. For a person starting their first book of shadows this book is good. but for those who arent new to the craft it wouldnt be worth the money for it
