Very comprehensive user guide makes setting up this phone easy for almost anyone. Took perhaps 20-30 mins. to set up, and works beautifully. 30 mins. answerphone messages time ought to be enough for anybody. Volume great both on earpiece and speaker, and volume adjustment in call easy. You may want to set the volume rather low initially as it is quite loud to very loud on medium to loud settings. Even on EcoDECT setting the range is very good and response of the handset very quick. The buttons are very positive so accidental double number entries are highly unlikely. There really isn't anything I could fault this phone on and I have yet to come across a better or better specified one.Go for it - highly recommended! There's also a twin version and additional handsets with charging bases.

Not too hard to set up.made easier by having PDF manual online...so I didnt have to struggle with the tiny 6pt tinkerbelle light type on the supplied manual.Fairly intuitive one you get the hang of it. and I say that as a not very techy person of "mature years"......ringing tone is plenty enough loud depending which one you select. But maximum volume of the set in conversation and on speaker could be a bit louder. I was happy I could turn the answer phone off completely .Dont need it.Overall attractive phones lots of clever features ..but you can keep it simple as well. I read the reviews which helped me decide my purchase. Nice looking phone which I think is important as it is in my lounge.Easy to set up.I didn't give it maximum score for 'easy to use' only because it is capable of performing so many more functions that I'll never need. The user manual is very extensive.Thoroughly recommend this phone and it is a reasonable price.

I like these phones. They replaced my Panasonic which were old so looked for a new type. I like the feel and look. The ring tones are different. My only complaint is I can't seem to set up the phone book without scrolling through every number to find what I am looking for. This might just be me not being able to sort it out.I also like that the answering machine can be turned off as we have answering service with our phone which works for us. I would definitely buy again. And the volume is very good which was lacking with panasonic.

Handset broke in 2 years

Delivery was amazing, just 19 hours from ordering.Assembly was very simple and the 'phone set is very smart but quite fiddly to set up, requiring very precise fingering.For those with poor hearing, and need the 'phone to always be in 'Speaker' mode this 'phone is a real nuisance because it has to be plugged back into the charging base for this, I couldn't even get that to work. The instructions talk of 'Earpiece' which turns out to mean what I would call the usual speaker.Entering 'pone numbers was easy enough once I'd deciphered the instructions, but again, fiddly.There are a surprising number of 'Ringtones' to choose from.

Easy to use and set up. The volume of the base and handset ringer is good. However the audio volume when listening to callers is not as good as we hoped. Still better though, than the BT and Doro phones we tried.Hate the ringtone melodies.

Recently purchased a BT set of phones and rated it the worst phone we had ever used. What a joy to have a set at a reasonable price where everything works in a logical manner. Plenty of features and really good clear sound quality. Can't fault it in any way.
