Roberts 3085 Multipurpose Adhesive - 1 Gal. (3.78 L)

10/17/2025 When I received this I rushed to opened it. I had carpet panels on my house stairs some after years some of them became loose from the steps. it was unsightly! The lst draw was when I stumbled over one the step wear the carpet had really start to come loose. I grabbed a spatula, first wiping down the exposed wooden stair so the application of the adhesive would be smooth. I applied an even line( don't overdo it -or it will ooze . I patted the carpet down on the layers adhesive. No smell! 30 minutes later- whoa seamless. I enjoy do it yourself small task and this was great. So now that I know it works with little effort, I got some carpet panel upstairs that could use a "tender loving" care. The quart is great and the top seals pretty. I was comfortable with the price too!

Perfect for tufted rugs

Quality of adhesive is quite good. The floor was ready to lay linoleum in 30 minutes after applying a thin layer of adhesive. Suggest if they give a plastic or wooden applicator with the adhesive can. With a can I covered 92 sq. feet. area.

Good glue for carpet regluing jute carpet backing. The only problem is that it takes along time to dry so careful not to use to much except where you need it to stick. It sticks really well and has good working time.

was hoping it would hold the covering a bit tighter, but had to staple in place while it took a bit of time to set and hold.

I used this product to install a vinyl floor for a low income family free of charge. Covered the kitchen and laundry room perfectly. Vinyl floor still in great shape since 2022.

Is what I remember, carpet GLUE, however it does color a kind of light yellow, once put on and cures, it is there to stay.

Works good with carpet not to sticky to fast gives time to adjust carpet to proper place. I used it on carpet squares.

Used it to glue linoleum flooring. Easy to apply with a scraper. Got it for 20aed

I used this for vinyl peel and stick tile on concrete floors. I should have ordered vct glue because this is for felt backed vinyl and carpet but after it cured 2 days later it's solid and no tiles have lifted. I tried to lift one with my finger and couldn't. After 2 weeks still no lifting. Looks to be holding up well. Has a strong glue smell. And thick but easy to work with I bought a plastic drywall scraper but ended up using an old blush brush because I'm like that' I painted the glue to the floor with the brush and layed them and rolled them with a dough roller. Looks like it will hold up. Definitely better then a concrete laundry room floor. I'll give this glue a thumbs up👈 get some cheap tile and buy this glue.
