Works awesome,holds the spring down and makes swapping rockers and lifters easy.
Worth the $17. If you watch the videos using bent wrenches and pry bars instead of this tool think of your time and aluminum motor.

Low price but great tool for diy
Ok see people bash this lil tool. For the price u can't beat it's performance or quality. If u're not over exerting the tool meaning smashing valve all the way open tool will last at least few jobs. And for price one time payed for itself in savings of paying a shop 150 plus a hr. Just finger tight on the wingnut on bolt . I only found bolt strength was only issue but hey can buy that. Quality otherwise vs 100 dllrs plus models out there. Ifniswdbas intended and not bottoming out valve spring in seat this tool will last for longtime . I only recommend replace bolt Ifnu want zero issues

Doesn't work
This tool does not work as shone. Will not push the valve springs down to be able to install keepers on the valve on the top of the head close to intake. Slips off valve springs. I am a mechanic with many years experience.

This is a well made tool, no problem removing the valve locks (keepers). The problem is reinstalling the locks, no room for fingers. I used long, locking, surgical needle nose, to hold each lock for installation. You require lots of patience.
