Good quality - decent value
I have used 12VDC car cords daily for years and have tried substitutes, mostly because of the high replacement cost of original equipment for use with the Inogen, G2, G3, G4 and the Oxygo equivalent units - ie; prices ranging from $45 to $80 US. The substitutes have failed or didn't work - but this one does work in cars but will not plugged into other shortened female receptor sockets found in battery packs and other accessory equipment (the male plug is slightly too long as compared with the inogen unit and will not make ground tab contact). Key features are the unusual large metal button (see photo) on the male plug, good fit on the female and adequate wire gauge ...18 gauge or 16 gauge required and decent insulated wire quality. The original equipment is slightly better, a more versatile male plug that seems to fit almost all receptors besides autos, sturdier build quality and has a 5 foot cord vs a 3 foot cord that this unit has - its just hard to justify the very high cost. Recommended for use in autos.
