When used with there chain cleaner it does a great job of cleanjng the chain.

Good chain cleaner

Totally worked to make chain clean as advertised! Used with Park Tool CM-5.2 Cyclone Chain Cleaner. Beware that even though it says "Bio" it does create problems when in contact with sealed patios or other sealed surfaces. My first cleaning was on a sealed patio, and even though I quickly rinsed it off with soapy water, it ate away some of the coating, making parts of the patio sticky to the touch for weeks. Not sure if it will kill grass, and I don't have any dirt areas in the yard, so I am not sure what surface I will use it over the next time. Someone told me that I consider using a product like Natural Orange Heavy Duty Cleaner/Degreaser.

Cleans bike chain nicely. Slightly messy though but easy to clean up afterwards.

Well, this stuff IS expensive. I find it very easy to use with the park tool chain cleaner. Rinses off fairly easily with water and advertised safe for the environment. Degreases very, very well. To offset the expense a little, I drain the used liquid through a coffee filter into a plastic container and let it sit until I’m ready for the next chain cleaning. During that time, the gunk has settled and the cleaner can be used again by carefully pouring off into a separate container.

The first time I used this chain cleaner, I had forgoten that my sticky, black chain was actually silver! Use this fluid in your favorite chain cleaning machine (I like the Park Tools manual chain cleaning machine). Always amazing (and disgusting) to see when you clear the black water out of your cleaning machine. I wipe my chain down after every ride, and use this chain cleaner after every two or three rides. It will increase the lifetime of your chain (and likely the sproket and chain rings as well), and likely allow more of your power to transfer to the wheels.

I use this with my Park Tool CB-2.4 Chaingang Cleaning System. The bottle that originally came with the CB-2.4 tool wasn't as large as this bottle, but it lasted 2.5 cleanings. This bottle lasts about 4 cleanings. It works well and doesn't stain the cement if it drips/splashes, but I typically lay an old towel on the floor when using this stuff. It's biodegradable so that's plus. It doesn't smell bad at all and is easy to use. Great product.

Cleans the chain efficiently

Initially had problems with the order, retailer took responsibility and provided solution promptly. In term of the product can't fault Park Tool quality. Has a nice smell to it too.
