KJV Super Giant Print Reference Bible, Purple LeatherTouch Indexed Imitation Leather – Large Print, September 1, 2013

I bought this bible for my mom, because she wanted a large print bible and this bible met all of her specifications.The only problem with this bible is that a lot of the cross references are inaccurate, in that you can tell they were just chosen for having one or two words in a sentence in common. I would say that about 40% of the cross references listed are completely inaccurate and I have to wonder if people who have ever even read the bible put this version together. Just because a scripture or verse has the same word or a few words, does not mean it applies as a cross reference. My mom has had to go back and search in another bible, through the concordance, and online for the accurate cross references because she gave her previous bible away and lost all of her highlighting and markings.Then, you have the typos and grammatical errors. There are MANY, MANY, MANY errors. It's really bad and it's really easy to catch them when reading. I've never and she has never had a bible with hardly any errors so you can tell that this version's editorial staff didn't do their job properly.Those two issues can make it difficult for someone to really understand the word of God. It's important that spelling, grammar, and accurate cross referencing are present in the bible to give the full impact of the word without deterrence.I will say that the cover of the bible is beautiful, but it's a shame the print is not also on the back. It should be. The print is nice and large, which does make it easier for someone to read. However, unless you're well-versed with the bible and already know the scriptures and just need a very large print bible, I really wouldn't get this for someone or yourself to be honest.My mom has read the entire bible, of many different versions (KJV being her favorite), more than 300 times (as both a minister and in her free time) so it's not hard for someone like her to catch these errors.Overall it's decent, but it's not fantastic by any means, especially if you're the grammar police... the errors will drive you insane.

My previous super giant print KJV Bible is a 17 font size but I had problems reading it. When I saw this purple KJV Bible, the Amazon description said it is an 18 font size print. I honestly didn’t expect it to make much difference but in desperation decided to try it anyway. Much to my surprise, I discovered this Bible is much easier for me to read. Not only that, but it is a truly gorgeous Bible. The cover is lovely purple with embossed black flower/vine pattern on the top half. The silver page edging compliments the cover perfectly. My church friends think it is beautiful too!

I ordered King James, in my opinion it's the best! I ordered the purple...love it! Ordered the purple Bible case to go with it and it fit perfect, even with all my extra things I carry with it!!! My mom has the same only a different color!!! And she really likes hers too!!!

Purchased for my mom that wanted giant print. These letters are very easy to read. My 90 year old aunt can also read these letters so this is the perfect find for someone who needs bigger letters. The bible also feels good to hold.

Love this bible it has thumb index is easy to find the books of the Bible the big text is wonderful for poor eyesight all and all really love everything about this Bible

I bought this Bible for a gift.The recipient loved the Bible. I bought the Super Giant Print also and the Bible has finger tabs to make it better to find the books of the Bible.

Got this for my Mom and she LOVES it. It is a bit big, but still perfectly fine for taking to church easily. Nice big print and very pretty cover.

Excellent, highly recommended. I use as my study bible. The cover is lovely.
