You must be very very diligent when you determine the adjustments (with or without the flat height adjustment foam panel and the front to back orientation of the pillow). Some of the combinations you try will be very obviously unsuitable. Those remaining combinations must be evaluated over at least 5 nights, taking care to log your impressions immediately upon awakening. I found my best configuration after about 3 weeks of testing.With my selected configuration and about 1 month of use, my persistent neck pain was almost totally eliminated and my wife reported that she no longer notices my snoring. I seem to sleep better and longer. I have discontinued use of the CPAP, it was of limited usefulness as I was never able obtain a good seal. I performed a statical analysis of the CPAP data over 30 days and found that I was very close to the incidents/hour criteria for determining whether I was a candidate for that therapy. There are other criteria used to determine sleep apnea that I could not evaluate, but I did see significant variation in the 30 day data I obtained for the CPAP monthly report, which could explain the results of my sleep study. The pillow was helpful, the CPAP, not so much. I am. an engineer, not a physician, this is my opinion of the pillow and my experience with the pillow and CPAP, and should not be taken as medical advice.

I had to get used to the pillow the first nite. Its not like sleeping on a soft down pillow and took off one layer of pillow to my neck is comfortable sleeping and the 2nd nite I slept so good and got used to it while wearing a CPAP. It is mostly for side sleepers but at times I slept on my back for a bit then switched to sleeping on the side. Bought a different kind of CPAP pillow 3 months ago and it was too flat so this is so much better. My husband and I are happy with this CPAP pillows. I like this pillow. I've never been one for these type of pillows. They are usually to hard for me. This one does feel hard but I actually sleep good on it. Its very helpful with the CPAP and I sleep better on my side.

I love this pillow for use with my CPAP! I love that there are two different heights, one on each side that I didn't even realized at first. I am a side/tummy sleeper and this really helped with preventing leaks and pressure points. I like to sleep with my hands up near my head and the cut outs help with that. The firmness of the memory foam, helped my head feel support yet it felt soft and comfortable at the same time. I didn't notice a smell, but after reading reviews, I gave it a day to expand fully and air out so that I did not have any issues.

Overall as a pillow, pretty nice. I've got used to using it and enjoy it. My first time with memory foam.As far as the CPAP function goes, absolutely silly. The cutouts are in the wrong place and useless. Maybe it was designed by giraffes with sleep apnea.Im okay with using it and as a simple pillow now and do. Way over priced without any CPAP benifit.

Works perfectly and very comfortable! I was always waking up with a sore neck from trying to hold my head up in my sleep to keep my nose pillows from leaking. This pillow allows me to comfortably lay on the pillow while making an unobstructed space for my mask. I sleep better and wake up with zero aches and pains. I wish I found this sooner!

While I couldn't use this pillow because of neck issues, I gave it five stars for the following two reasons:1. The pillow and cases are made of quality material. There are two cutouts, small and large, to accommodate different kinds of CPAPs.2. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! I left a message for the seller and was contacted the very next day. The person I had contact with couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating.Even thought this pillow didn't work for me, I highly recommend you give this quality pillow a try.

Conceptually, the pillow is great -- I really thought it would work for me to lower my AHI numbers with my PAP machine, but instead, it doubled them. I tried for 3 days each every combination of sides of the pillow and pillow height adjustments as well as the pillow cases. I could never get comfortable. As I slept restlessly because I was never comfortable, whenever my head changed positions (in my sleep), the mask would move slightly, causing a small air leak, which contributed to my poor numbers. As an FYI, the pillow, being similar to a memory foam, is fairly stiff and has many ridged to help keep one's head in a fixed place, but that also means if one tries to move the head or if your head is too large or too small for the built-in indentations in the pillow, the concept won't work.The second part of the problem with this pillow was even more disconcerting. Lundberg states, "BUY WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE: if for any reason our face pillow doesnt reduce air leaks, mask pressure or doesn't improve your quality of sleep, contact us for a full refund." The problem with that is that for this guarantee to work, a way of contacting Lundberg must be provided somehow, somewhere. There is no such link, nor is there one provided in the Amazon Lundberg store. Nor could I Google the company. So there is no way to return the product other than through the Amazon 30-day window.
