Works well for Koji and fermentation projects paired with a heat pad.
I have been using this paired with a cheap reptile terrarium heat pad inside a cool box to grow Koji for Miso and Sake and other fermentation projects. It can easily maintain 32c. It is designed such that you simply plug a heatpad into the open plug socket and plug the device into the wall. My only small critique is that when setting it up the temperature it doesn't ask you to set a range to maintain but rather asks you to put in a maximal value at which it will turn off and a difference value beneath which it will turn on. This amounts to the same thing but I did have to re read the instructions a few times. In all fairness this is primarily aimed at he as ting terrariums where I am sure desirable parameters are different.Previously I have (poorly) wired my own temperature and humidity controller as Humidity/Temperature controllers like InkBird with two plugs are quite expensive. However I have been having great success with my Koji simply covering my grains with a plastic bag or cling film to keep humidity in.In my experience it is poor temperature control not poor humidity control that kills Koji most often. This device maintain temperature excellently and if you do wish to grow Koji specifically I don't feel humidity control is a must, just steam the grains so they are not at all mushy or stick together (undercooked if anything) and then cover to keep the bulk of the temp in with just enough space to let air flow (another factor majorly over emphasized online in my opinion). This device maintains temperature at 30-32c in an insulated container and does not exit these parameters, it's quite cheap and so I would highly recommend it ( for fermentation).

It was a real good Thermostat
It was a real good Thermostat.. I didnt read it right it only gets to 40c .. I needed 50c + so I had to send it back.. But I found it to be better then a lot of others even the Habistat classic pro.. They do your head in beeping all the time..

Uncertain on Accuracy but Good and Affordable
After reading the instructions though, this was pretty simple to set up! I think a lot of the other reviews over-complicated it but you just need to adjust the temperature to the max one you'd like and click "set". That's all there is to it. I have it at around 32c for my corn snake and it turns off the connected heat lamp if it gets too close to the temperature.I'm not sure about the accuracy to be fair, it has a habit of flicking up and down between each tenth of a degree every few seconds which is a little irritating at night when either warming up or cooling down.I've attached it to an extension lead to plug into my wall and so far so good though! Haven't had any issues with it thus far other than the flicking between degrees constantly.

Great thermostat, looks good and good accuracy.
I can’t fault this, for the money paid you really can’t go wrong. It keeps good accuracy, it looks fantastic and you can buy 3 of these for the price of 1 habistat thermostat and still put a couple of quid back in your pocket, the build quality is easily as good as the more expensive ones. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and even has an audio beep when you adjust the temperature so you won’t adjust it without knowing. My only complaint is a silly one really and that is that it’s only got a screw hole one side to fix it on the viv so it hangs down, iv got around that by sticking it on with 3M tape, but still it would make sense to have a screw hole both sides, but 1 screw hole is a screw hole more than on the 3 times the price habistat one which comes with a single sticky pad.Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
